Yes we can do this, It's like we are subtracting both the equations and doing so,we will get another equation in x and y then just substitute value of y or x in any equation to get the solution. Example: 2x+3y=5 ----(i) 3x+2y=5 ----(ii) from above equation 2x+3y=3x+2y or x=y substitute in (i) we get 2x+3x=5 5x=5 or x=1 and y=1

from above equation
2x+3y=3x+2y or x=y substitute in (i) we get
