The problem with balance is that most of people usually play a small range of champions, then you try to succeed in your games against cracked champions with meta abusers and you can't win anymore, not without struggling more than you should need. I was kayn main, and the more you climb, the more your champion gets useless, when i switched to play bel'veth, it wasn't even fair, i obliterated every game with no struggle, but i didn't like to play with her, i was just playing for the lp, because as kayn, it was hard to have successful ganks if your lanes don't have a good cc and almost any jungler overpower you in any skirmishes before you get your form. Also, playing as khazix, it's other level of jungler, so yeah, imagine being in top lane against idk, fiora with a champion that doesn't have a lot of tools to deal with her, it has to be a nightmare. So all of the sudden the game that was supposed to be fun is an imense struggle just to survive and hoping your team do good so you can be carried
Easy champs don’t struggle in low elo, once you get out of gold you need either champs with more skill expression because basic champs are predictable or meta champs. Playing meta will work only for some patches tho.
