11 year homeschool mom here. (of 2) Best decisions I ever made. I recognized some of your reading books. But I paused to take a peek. 😃 Liberty Tree. Paths to Explore. William Bradford and George Muller. 💕We mostly do Abeka and BJU, Teaching textbooks for math. I love seeing how others do their homeschool. Our dining room is our homeschool room and our dining table our "desk." But it works! God bless and guide you as you train your precious arrows up in the nurture of the Lord!

Hi Liz, I'm so happy that I found you. I'm coming over from Pine and Prospect, Share the Love. What I love most about you is that you're different. Many times I see same old, you've seen one and you've seen them all. So congratulations on not painting your brick and dark woods. It is timeless too. I have an idea for gaining the one quarter inch for a pie safe. I noticed the baseboard trim and what I would do is remove it only where the pie safe would be. Keep what you remove in case someday you decide to remove the pie safe then it can be put back and repaired. Good luck. So very happy to watch your videos!!! Thanks for daring to be different.

We bought a fixer upper on a few acres. It has an old shed that would be the perfect homeschool room once renovated! I absolutely LOVE your homeschool room. It is so peaceful and organized. I'm going to have to come back to this once we get our homeschool room renovated.

This is my 8th year homeschooling (my oldest is in 6th grade so I’ve been at it since he was in pre-k) and we have 4 kids. I always wanted a dedicated homeschool room but as the years have gone by, I’ve realized even if we had one, we probably wouldn’t use it! We do much of our schooling at the dining/kitchen table. I’ve found that homeschooling in the common areas allows “education as a lifestyle” to flow more freely throughout our days.
I do wish I had a little room for a library! I’m fairly minimal in many areas of my life...except books ❤️
