Rules are crazy huh?! Love your persistence in meeting your goals! I tend to prefer nighttime shots when it comes to city buildings. You got some lovely ones.
Great inside to some of the viewpoint in the city, I do like your last photo the best!!! Last time I went up that tall tower, the have a great outdoor space aswell to take some great images of the skyline!!
@@mibreit-photo think you will find it worth the $20 the view towards the skyline is amazing. Unfortunately I was not so good in Photography back then, so my photo's aren't great. Good reason to go back some day!!!
I like your videos, I learn a lot and it also seems that I am traveling hahah. I prefer the second photo, it´s very nice, and this case, you can also use a clamp for the railing is very useful!! Thank you :)
Interesting video Michael. In that 2nd situation, you could've used a tabletop tripod or a little trick just using the camera on a ballhead and pushing that ball head into the base under the camera. It's not convenient for long timeblends, but you can pull of some bracketed shots. Then do it later as lights progresses etc. Depending on the lens, when shooting upwards you might actually find it's stable on its own. But I guess you didn't need that as you were shooting level and not poiting down or up 🙂
Yea for level it was fine. I actually have a table top tripod, but even that would have likely caused raised eyebrows;-) there was no room for discussion when I was there. Maybe they get more relaxed again in the future. As you saw theres so much space for tripods where you dont disturb anyone.
@@mibreit-photo Elia Locardi said that he travels with one, for these rooftops with no tripod rules. And when they still say something he will try to kinda laugh it off like it's just a toy. Little do they know it can still produce professional results 😁
@@yeti-i2f Check when they have the Malaysia Independence day Fireworks. I missed it by a week, but had I known this would have been the time. You can get great Photos.
The 2nd photo is the best one for me, followed by the 1st one.
The last pic of the Petronas Towers is my favourite! Decent photos there m8

Yes, I was thinking about getting up there, but it's 20USD per person I think - So for 2 nearly as much as we payed for our apartment with rooftop ;-)

@@mibreit-photo If it's going to yield a portfolio piece it's definitely worth 20$ 😄
