Virgo lagna . Moon at 16 °53' pisces revathi[1] and revathu starts at 16°40. In pisces . Clearly the difference is very small so the tara lgana will itself lie in the first house if i am right . I analyzed this technique with Dhirubhai ambani chart, moon is in purvashada nakshathra, difference value / 1.11111 = 6.67 which means 7th house from lagna = gemini, not exalted or debilitated for venus

Basically if you make 12 zodiac divisions of the nakshatra in which moon is in and check which division it is in and count that many divisions from lagna. If you look at like this, it becomes easy.

Can someone please recheck and verify calculation done by me.
Native moon is 23°54' purvabhadrapada nakshatra (jupiter),in aquarious rashi.
Its starting point is 20° in aquarious so difference is 23°54' -20° =3°54' converting into decimal 3.9
3.9÷1.11111=3.51.native lagna is aries so 4th house will be cancer in which jupiter is exaulted,what does it means native will be billioner ?

- Nakshatra lord is Mars
-Mrighshira nakshatra degree is from 23.20 taurus - 6.40 Gemini
- Substract 6.40-3.15 =3.25 degree
-3.25/1.11111= 2.925 ie 3rd house
-3rd house is Capricorn
So 3rd house is Tara lagna?

Moon Degrees - 5.34
Krittika Degress - 26.40 - 10.00
Hence took starting value as 26.40 to minus moon degrees...Please correct and clarify the same sir.😊
kritika nakshatra lies in Aries(26°40'-30°) to Taurus(0°-10°)
so as per your moon degree :5°34'
the difference will come out to be 8°54')
then rest you can divide it by 1.11111 and find tara lagna

My moon is Krittika 5 degree
Krittika degree starts from 26.40 to 10 degree
26.40- 5 = 21.4 divided by 1.11111= 19.2600193
Now from my ascended nakshatr jyeshtha I had to go 19 degrees further this is the part I am confused if you can clear me up where this going to land plz ! If you understand this concept.

I think we have to take lowest value of Nakshatra that is 10 out of (26:40A-10T)
(10-5:34)/1.11111=4.2 so 5th house from Laguna will be Tara Laguna
My Tara lagana is Aquarius and my moon in 16 degree in sawati nakshatra. Rahu is exaulted in Aquarius. It means I will be rich in my life.

Thanks for sharing this technique, though, the most prevalent one is the association of the Tara Lagan with an Exalted or debilitated planet or the TL Sign Lord Exalted or debilitated...The Nakshatra lord is always Mental in nature but the Grahas and the Sign lord are materialistic or physical in nature. Hence it's essential to check for the former than the latter.

one may have extraordinary placements but this technique of tara lagna only focuses on the relation of the nakshatra lord of moon (i.e venus in your case) with tara lagna rashi which is capricorn a neutral sign to venus

Hello, sir this technique doesn't apply into my case. my calculations value is 0.80 which falls in ascendant itself means sign of Virgo which a debilitating sign for moon nakshtra lord Venus. I may be wrong while calculating hence I'm sharing the natal chart details. DOB 9th October, 1987, 4:32AM, Samanpur, Nepal.

My Moon is at 3.18° in Mool. Mool starts from 0° to 13.20° in Sagittarius.
So, it'll be 3.18°-0°= 3.18°
3.18÷1.11111=2.86
So, it's 3.
As it's in Ketu sign, we'll count in descending order.
It's 11th house and Capricorn sign.
Ketu is the Nakshatra lord placed in Cancer 5th house.

your Tara lagna is in virgo and nakshatra lord is moon so you have to see the relation b/w moon and sign virgo .moon gets exalted in taurus ,debilitated in scorpio and owns cancer sign. So virgo is a neutral sign to moon

If you change the Ayanamśa things change? Then how can it be an accurate system? There are definitely much better ways in astrology than this ! Anyway what Ayanamśa are you using sir ?
Ayanamsha has to be lahiri always there's an 100% inclusive proof about this published by Late R Santhanam Ji in his book 'essentials of predictive Hindu astrology' the research is based on finding conception time from birth time and vice versa he had discussed a chart where both the timings were accurately recorded on special instructions and the results were totally correct to the seconds using the technique but only using lahiri ayanamsha.

Well its good that you mentioned at 2:25 that a techniques applicability is 70% to 80%. It reasserts that astrology is complex and needs a holistic approach.
I did test this technique on some well known charts (whose time of birth is accurate) and it turns out that in some it worked and in some it did not. So this technique needs more research to be done.
Also, one cannot just do predictions based on only one technique. Multiple methods should point toward the same thing and thanks to the great astrologers who have given us a range of dictums that help to do so.
