- First of many taken off Phil's 'Live Experience DVD'. This was a concert performed in Limerick on the 20th August 1996.
Nothing needs to be said about the piece; as I'm sure your all familiar with the history of it.
I do apologise for the watermark, part way through, but I've had to re-build my laptop and lost all my video copying/editing software, so I'm reduced to using an unlicensed version *shush, don't tell anyone LOL*.

My Dad died 32 years ago. This song fits him to a tea! He was born in Ireland and loved his country home. I still miss him!
lost my dad on 28th March 2022 to cancer. this song is beautiful. it speaks so well of our relationship. he taught me to fish, hunt and to be honest, respectful and humble.

I lost my Dad in March 2021 and I play this a lot since his Death I miss him terribly from Suzanne of Deansgrange Dublin Ireland
My dad died 2 weeks ago following a short battle with cancer. I've listened to this for hours every day. We miss you so much dad !!!!

This coming October will be 8yrs because of Cancer and I still miss him each and every day, some days more then ever. my father was everything to me.

I lost my mom a little over a year ago and in March my dad was diagnosed with ALS, which has no cure. So my thoughts are often about my father's mortality. This song absolutely has me in tears right now.

wonderful ; I remember when I lost my father September 27, 2003 ; ironically on September 27, 1942 our kinsman Douglas Munro was killed at Guadalcanal and my father long told me that was a date I should never forget.

Having listened to Phil for years, this one hits home. An accomplished musician, I more than admire Phil. Here I am listening to this song on the 15th anniversary of my da's passing, like the song was written for us (of course I am sure so many others feel the same way I do about this song). What a Blessing to hear this. Thanks Phil for your brilliance, talent and heartfelt music! Rest peacefully dad! Miss you so much!
