Wow, this is an outstanding tour of these cities! The video quality is just 5 stars ! All the lights and decorated buildings and the snow capped mountains just make these places all look so magical. Thanks for posting !
You’re too kind. Thank you!
Couldn't decide between locations until I saw this video. This is a true travelers guide.
That’s so cool! Thank you! Can I ask which location you picked?
Such an amazing video (composition, transitions, quality)...I use to hang out at all these places back in the day and it was so amazing to see them again this way from afar. AND...SO relaxing. Great work and much appreciated.
You’re so kind, thank you! It means a lot as putting these together is surprisingly huge amount of work.

It’s cool 😎. Thanks for updating all. We going to ski trip to Vail on Dec. wish more snow 😊.
I hope you’ll have a lot of snow and fun!
As a retired ski writer, I have been to all Colorado resorts more times than I can recall. All provide fairy tale settings around Christmas if you can cope with the crowds of "look at me" jet set wannabes and outright snobs. I prefer to spend Christmas in the wilds of the Michigan Upper Peninsula, at ski areas like Big Powderhorn and Indianhead, where they get over 200 inches of real powder each winter, where the Yoopers are friendly and welcoming, where the prices are a mere fraction of those out West.
Funny- now you can write what you feel. You are in harmony with your spirit. When you were working for the man, I bet you wrote things like "Come explore the magical Rockies. Enjoy a hot chocolate at the base of Vail mountain and be surrounded by smiling faces and amazing places! Grab those skis on a powder day and let the epic adventures take you away!" Something like that? 😅
As an aside, I taught skiing out there so I was more "back of the house." Two different people sitting on the same chair lift at the same time can be in two different versions of reality- one is not necessarily any better or worse that the other, just different. I've met a lot of rich folks who were not happy and just as many broke blokes who were quite light hearted. There were times when I was broke, living in Tahoe- and times when they called me sir at Aspen. I can't tell you which of those times I felt more alive- perhaps the former.
"LiFes a GaRden- Dig it!" JD.
Cheers!
so true😂
@@UTAH100 Oh you must live in Switzerland and ski there. The U.S. will always be hamburger people who pretend to be sophisticated.
@@Mr196710 LOL- then consider me a 1/4 pounder with cheese. I am an American and I love skiing out West and especially Vail. A friend I met at the dog park just got back from skiing the Alps and he was very impressed. That said, if you have ever skied Vail on a powder day, it is tough to beat. I don't care where you call home. The Alps also have droughts and more ice overall. Overall, more affluent people- perhaps but I really don't care. I grew up with nothing- made some money along the way- I am the same person. Not fancy, not a bum, just me. I like it that way. I have a theory that we are all really just one step away from being homeless- this includes doctors, lawyers, etc. We all scramble to survive on this planet. Even those born to wealthy families are the most homeless of all. They so fear losing their lifestyles. If I were homeless tomorrow, I would survive just fine...eating my hamburger at two Elk Lodge, Vail.
Curious- do you ski- Vail, Europe? Are you a hamburger or caviar type? Ever been homeless- I have. Now I own my own home and drive a Lexus. It's nice having nothing, then something. You appreciate things more.
Cheers!
@@UTAH100 You are a good and down-to-Earth person. I have too much free time on my hands today.
Fantastic video quality and presentation thank you
You’re too kind. I still see plenty of room for improvement but I decided to grow my cinematic skills while sharing.
This is so Beautiful! ✨
Thank you for the kind words.
Great scenes and music
I will always cheer for you in Korea I'm looking forward to a great video. Have a nice day.
Beautiful 😍
Absolutely amazing /stunning
You’re too kind. Thank you and happy holidays!
Nice video. Been to all of these places. They are magical destinations to be sure. I lived and worked on mountain one magical winter. It is a fond memory. Visiting is a little different than living there- mostly you laugh at how much people spend...but everyone is usually having a great time so it's all good. At the pub, we all drink together, millionaires next to lift operators. It's fun times! Lift tickets (no rental/no lessons) are going for $200 a day, burgers are around $15. A nice hotel room near a lift in the village can easily run you $1,000-$8,000 a night. It's not a cheap sport but on a powder day, at the top of China Bowl, you have never experienced anything closer to heaven. Some instructors have their goldens running behind them in the powder while they ski- right after saving a life. Like the Vail tagline says and it's true "Like Nothing on Earth." This video captured it. Walking around the villages, with light powder falling and the snowcats grooming the runs for the next day of fun is surreal.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice and visual description. I could see the places as you were describing them. Glad you had a such memorable time and thank you for sharing it much appreciated.
@@cinematicrelaxation Thanks. Your video was excellent and also put me back into that reality. It's a great place to be! Next time, during a light snow, head up to the North Woods (on Vail mountain) and ski through the trees. It is also a very magical place- so quiet and peaceful.
Happy Holidays- Cheers!
Fantastic place!
We agree!
LOVE THIS!! ❤️
Thank you!
Nicely done. Keep up the good work.
Great video and soundtrack , little sad soundtrack . Wow I am touched .
Is this current? Do these cities currently have snow?
Hi, all footage in this video I filmed last season. Don’t know if they currently have snow.
They do currently have snow :)
Nice 🎄🎄🎄
Like so many others, I would love to be here from October to January 1. After that it would be time to return home to sunny California. I once communicated with a woman who moved to Southern California from Colorado. Yeah, Colorado is beautiful she agreed, but she got tired of being shut indoors for six months out of the year because of winter. Autumn and early winter are the magical festive holiday months. After that you're pretty much done with winter.
Beautiful video 👍👍👍👍
Thank You 🙏
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
fabulous work. one of the best out there. thanks for this.
Your channel will grow like crazy. Believe it. Just keep it up. 💯
great video, exactly the comparison I was looking for, which one is which though? Are there captions or titles that one 1st, 2nd, and so forth? I want to visit and can visit only 1 of them due to time and money constraints. which is telluride and which is vail etc.
Hi. In the lower right corner I display name of each town. Hope that helps. Happy holidays!
Hello Darek Great video! Thank you! .... For my first visit to Colorado this Christmas with my wife and kids, If I want them to have a magic like Christmas movie style vibes, which of these should I start with? Or more than one while keeping a budget? Thank you for your response!
Thank you! If you’d like the upscale feel Vail and Aspen is the way to go. If you prefer old mining town cozy feel, welcoming and charming, I’d recommend Breck or Telluride. Breckinridge always does amazing Christmas Tree Park, that’s nice. All of them are great.
amazing, what camera and lens do you use?
Sony a7iiii and 16-40mm f4 lens. Thank you!

Hello, we are a production team for a Korean TV program.
We would like to use this video in our program.
Is it possible to use the video with attribution?
Looking forward to your reply :)
Amazing video,
What camera do you use?
Mostly Sony A7iii and some iPhone 13 pro and DJI Magic 3 drone. I bring the uniform look later in post. Thank you for the kind words!
@@cinematicrelaxation thank you! It’s really good.
NICE KEYSTONE NEXT
Yup! This season! Keystone, Beaver Creek and my fave Steamboat Springs. Thanks and Happy Holidays and tons of pow on the slopes.
The snow is beautiful but not very much Christmas decorations
Correction: What you showed by the end of the video is not Telluride. It's Mountain Village.
You’re absolutely right. I should have tagged it and described it correctly. I cannot fix it in the video anymore, but I’ll create chapters and fix it that way. Thanks for pointing that out.
That poor horse.
So empty! No visitors? Soo sad !
On the contrary, it's good for tourists when less tourists
Are people STILL wearing masks around town in Aspen? 😲
Is it a requirement or something?
This footage was filmed over the last few years, it's not from last month.
Wow that was really freaking good thanx a lot! Subd....
That’s just an awesome comment and a sub. Much appreciated!
