I agree. I haven't been going to church consistently in a long time but I desire to find one that God has for me to attend. I have been discouraged buy some of the things that go on in church. But I pray to find the one that God has for me to be a part of. Pray for me also

Perversion has entered the church and they use the scriptures the wrong way like the Pharisees. The pharisees used the sabbath and other God's laws to entrap people to glorify their own flesh and not in our Father.Jesus said in the book of John that the true person sent by God would not do his own will but the will of God the Father .We need to be alert. If you get a good church where the word of God is followed even by the Pastors and the leaders then we can go there on the sabbath or any other time.
When some churches start breaking the very principles of the bible paid with blood by Christ and over 50 million saints , they have opened the door for people to do what's best for them to get do God's will the right way.

Cory Jackson BELOVED IF YOU FEEL THAT GOD PUT YOU THERE ,THEN STAY UNLESS GOD TELLS YOU TO LEAVE. LEAN NOT TO YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. JESUS DIDN'T LIKE BEING ON THE CROSS BUT HE STAYED UNTIL HIS WORK WAS DONE. HOWEVER NEVER LEAVE CHURCH COMPLETELY. IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU MUST GO,THE FIND ANOTHER CHURCH, BUT STAY IN FELLOWSHIP OR BE LEFT BEHIND AFTER THE RAPTURE. YOU MUST HAVE A SHEPHERD COVERING YOU. SEE HEBREWS 13 :17 SND HEBREWS 10:25. THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT ARE FOR THE CHURCH NOT YOUR HOMES. MANY PEOPLE WILL LOSE OUT TO GOD BY NOT ATTENDING CHURCH. THEY MAKE ALL KINDS OF EXCUSES TO JUSTIFY THEIR ACTIONS. HOWEVER THEY GO TO WORK WITH BOSSES THAT ARE EVIL AND COWORKERS THAT ARE EVIL. THE APOSTLES,PROPHETS, PASTORS, TEACHERS, EVANGELIST, MISSIONARIES, DEACONS, CHIOR, USHERS, ETC ARE IN THE CHURCH NOT THEIR HOMES. THEM THAT ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD ARE THE SONS OF GOD. PEOPLE GET SAVED IN THE CHURCH NOT THEIR HOMES. PEOPLE GET DELIVERED IN THE CHURCH NOT THEIR HOMES. GOD SAID THAT HE WOULD RAISE UP A SHEPHERD AFTER HIS OWN HEART. ANYONE THAT DOESN'T GO TO CHURCH ARE LIKE A SHEEP SCATTERED ON THE HILL WITHOUT A SHEPHERD .THE GOAT WOULD BUTT YOU.THE DOG WOULD BITE YOU.THE WOLF WOULD RIP YOU UP.

The church is from the heart. Not four walls or buildings or temples.
1 Corinthians 3:16 King James Version (KJV)
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
Ephesians 3:17 King James Version (KJV)
“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,”
      2 Corinthians 6:16
      King James Version (KJV)
“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
Acts 7:48-49 King James Version (KJV)
“Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?”
Acts 17:24-25 King James Version (KJV)
      God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;”
Better? I am sure you will feel more confident!

The Church and church organizations are not the same thing. I worked at a mega church as an administrative assistant and one of the main pastors told me the church was first and foremost a business. The created outside charities to meet the needs of the poor, but I got the impression it was more so the leadership didn’t have to deal with needy people. I faithfully attended and served in churches for more than 25 years, in almost every area of ministry. I gave until my body broke from exhaustion. When I got sick I had to quit my job and leave most of my ministry services. Then I was asked to leave the leadership of the one I chose to remain in, and treated as if I were a backslider. Eventually I left, mainly because I felt as if I were being shunned, but had no idea what sin I had committed. I tried two other churches, but being unable to serve in children’s ministry, I was not given opportunity to use talents I could do, I was expected to pay my dues in the children’s ministry. Don’t get me wrong, I love working with kids, but I physically couldn’t handle it and because of my illness I could not be as reliable as one needs to be for that area. I’m almost 60, and I get very fatigued.
I love my God and Savior and have a personal relationship with Him. However, I’m not considered a sister in Christ unless I attend someone’s church. This makes no sense. I can guarantee there are many they consider brothers and sisters in Christ who just attend for the networking, or worse, because it’s an easy place full of trusting people to be able to do evil things.
My point is, it’s getting very hard to find a church that teaches scripture and actually cares about people. It just feels like an exclusive social club. It didn’t used to, back in the 80-90s. It started to change around the mid 2000s. About the time of the Purpose Driven Life craze. That movement made everyone so busy trying to find their purpose they sort of forgot about relationship-especially that all important personal relationship with God.
Also, Jesus as far as I know never worshipped on Sunday. Like you said, He never missed a Sabbath. Just saying….

My LORD, please bless messages of truth such as this one and lovingly convict those who are living less than Your standards require us to. Father God, I know that wherever you are is where I want to be and if the church I attend does not completely share my beliefs or convictions, Father God I pray that I may be an inspiring factor in their lives. I liked this video and the reasoning behind why one should go to church. I saw a sermon from RC Sproul recently in which he stated that if someone doesn't go to church, he'd question whether or not they are really saved. Realy?! The theif that was saved on the cross didn't attend church regularly I'm sure. I love going to church, but since I got married I find that its difficult to go due to my wife's disability.

I'm not a father, and I'm not in a relationship. So that won’t work on me. The churches in my area are run by certain cliques, and the testimonies of anyone, not belonging to the cliques, do not get heard. Then there are the big churches with the congregations that number in the hundreds! The testimonies you hear there, are the same testimonies you hear nearly every week. Next there's the church where somebody inevitably (usually the same people each week) starts speaking gibberish (meaning, they repeat the same sounds too often for it to be any kind of language), and somebody else ( usually the same people each week) interprets the gibberish almost exactly the same way each week! Doing it to the point that I can lip sync their response almost perfectly! I can appreciate your perspective, and if it works for you, that's great! But Jesus is the temple. He is the Church! Man, on the other hand, is a corrupt temple, a self abused temple, and that corrupts all earthly institutions. That doesn't mean that I don't search for a church that the Holy Spirit tells me is right, but I have yet to find such a church!
Most churches teach false doctrines, and as soon as I hear one, I'm gone! One of those false doctrines is the one that leads people to believe that TRUE belief in Christ as Lord, Savior, and navigator of one's life is not enough! And unless they attend the right church, whichever denomination that is (almost all claim to be the ONE), they can't enter into heaven! That is Satan's doctrine! Mingle with a congregation of ten, and at least three will be his emissaries, whether they know it or not! Mingle with 100, and 30 will try to corrupt you, whether they even realize they're corrupting you!
Your journey is not my journey! The things you need to learn, and overcome, are not the things that I need to learn and overcome! Hearing your testimony gives me perspective, which is why I'm a subscriber. Plus, when I disagree, I can give you a sermon in return! You can't do that in a church without offending the cliques! You can't, for instance, confront "Pastor" Joel "build a better you" Osteen, without offending all of those "have my cake and eat it too" followers of his! Nor can you debate a pastor, in his own church, if Antinomianism is his false message - because people actually WANT to believe that! They want to believe that belief in Christ is their "get out of jail free card"!
I lived in Central Arkansas for a time, and this false doctrine is everywhere out there! People actually believed that they could carry on as they did as non-believers or unsaved sinners, simply because they asked Jesus Christ to come into their hearts! Sure some people who do that do get saved from that day forward! But the difference between the saved, and the unsaved "Born Again's" is obvious! Jesus is actually IN the hearts of the saved, guiding their conduct! He is completely absent in the hearts of the "Business As Usual" believers. If they were sincere when they asked Him into their hearts, rather than just covering their own necks, their lives would have changed dramatically! It wouldn't be business as usual. Satan's the "Embrace you Sin" guy, not Jesus! So if that's someone’s path, then they're going the wrong way!
How many churches that teach Antinomianism do you think will listen to my rebuking testimony? I live on the U.S. west coast. How many liberal congregates do you think will respond lovingly to my rebuke of their irrational and hypocritical hatred of Donald Trump? So far, that number stands at zero!
When I rebuke a congregation (only the guilty) for leaving a carton of milk in the meat department of their local supermarket, or for leaving their shopping cart in a parking space, rather than pushing it ten to 20 feet to the shopping cart caddie, how do you think they respond? They defend their sin!
"The store employs people to clean up after me!"
Do they? Do they really? That carton of milk has to be thrown away, because the store employees have no idea what happened to it between the dairy and meat departments! And when the parking lot gets full, and the only space that’s reasonably close to the store, is the one occupied by your discarded cart, who ends up moving it; the "store employee" or the driver of the car that's trying to park? And even if a store employee ended up collecting your cart, are we, as Christians, encouraged to increase the work burdens of others, just for our own convenience? Sorry brothers and sisters, that's just plain lazy and inconsiderate! And Jesus would NEVER do it, nor would he sign the release for you to do it!
I do not agree with letting my fellow sinners CON themselves into believing that they can embrace Satan’s ways, and still be saved! We all need to be aware that sin, no matter how great or small we THINK it is, is not defined on a sliding scale! It is simply SIN! It is filth in the eyes of the one who is sinless! And you can’t have a little filth every now and then, and expect the one who is without sin, to say to you, on the day you leave this world:
“Well done good and faithful servant.”
As I asked one of my Arkansas friends, who believed God would say this to him:
“So looking at the examples set by Jesus, and then by His Apostles, and disciples, what have YOU done to deserve God’s praise?”
He certainly didn’t deserve any praise for the off-color words he had for me in response! As for you, I would advise that you do not make church attendance a matter of salvation! When you do that, you cause someone who is searching for the right church (Which is often motivated by the Holy Spirit) to compromise, and select the wrong church, one that might lead them to false doctrines!
The right church will feel like the right church! That’s what I’m searching for. And that’s what MANY Christians, without a church, are searching for! Some of us may never find what we’re looking for, it is 2020 after all! But they certainly do not need someone fanning the flames of fear, over whether they should or should not attend some earthly church! If church will help them, then God will lead them. If it won’t help, then they don’t need someone telling them they’ll end up in hell if the don’t attend a church.

I get the feeling a lot of other people there feel the same way towards people they really don't know. Another thing I Don't like is when the pastor is talking about church business or showing slides that have nothing to with God or his word during the time that is supposed to be devoted to God's word. I come there for one reason and that is to join with other believers to praise the Lord and get some word and go home.

Jesus is coming back for his people not a building. this is the main reason why I don't go to church comma people preach what they have been taught and it a lot of time is wrong. I've had my most in life spiritual growth when I asked God to show me the truth in his word and I challenge what I've Been Told by other preachers. I've had preachers twist scriptures on me to get me to do what they wanted me to.

God richly bless you for such an insightful revelation. This should be more than enough to change the mind of doubtful person if really this video is received with an open heart and humility. If one is so mindful of his or her relationship with God, I see no reason why going to church which is a place designated to be the house of God, should become a big deal. Close intimacy with the Holy Spirit will eventually lead you to church. I personally go to church not because of anything rather than to meet the Lord. I recommend that to you too.
Try that and you will experience a quantum leap in you spiritual walk with the Lord.
Joint participation in the faith does matters a lot. The apostles and disciples did the same and we are not smarter than them today. We ought to be VIGILANT AND SOBER. God bless you

Heck, if I believed that then I would not have started this TH-cam channel right? The vision for this channel was to go global and reach people worldwide, not just the church. So, we are in agreement there. However, we will give an account for how we used our gifts and talents whether inside or outside the church. Many people use the excuse and say, "I don't have to go to church to use my gifts." That's true. But my question to them is, "Do you use your gifts outside the church?" Many people don't. Thoughts?

What do we say through the argument that we are the church has a body of believers, not specifically a building that we go to for weekly worship? Many today are arguing that all of these points can be met without ever going to a physical church building so long as you have a healthy local community of believers to fellowship with and gather with regularly to encourage, edify, break bread etc. Perhaps the one thing missing from that scenario would be the teachings of a teaching pastor or shepherding of a pastor. In a conversation on this subject, how would you respond to that?

They also have an LGBT and supportive group which I go to as well. There are several scriptures that instruct pastors in the business of the church. Having said that, God would not have given us pastors to have oversight of the church in terms of spiritual matters for our growth and facilitation of our spiritual gifts as a single(s) body if we were not expected to go to church. God has called us to be a family that moves forth knocking holes in darkness so that others may see the light and join the work of the kingdom of God. We are His bride and when we reject church we are dismissing ourselves from a great honor. Sitting home with a wedding dress on and that is a dishonor to our Lord who just purchased that wedding gown of our liberty with His blood/life. When the farmer works very hard to yield prosperous crops. He don't leave them in the field to rot. The crops must go to the market place where they are organized and arranged as a unit of diversity purposed to nourish hungry families. We are God's crops but we must go to the market place where the overseer arranges us to be of a service to others. Not only that, we will be well cared for in the market place as opposed to being left unprotected in the field without guidance and instructions. We are many members in one body and my legs will not approve of my hands staying home while they are at church. It handicaps the church. body.

he's confusing the meaning of church when he says
    in church or church
    is a place.
church is not a building 4 walls
real church is group Jesus followers
built together as one body (family) - discipled and lead by the Spirit aka Jesus
look back at Jesus and his desiples (body in Christ) He took his church everywere wilderness, flee markets, and towns where there will be challenges through Faith so his desiples get to know Jesus more in there relationship that He is God and He is salvation but
in our American culture churches most percent have given up Faith in Jesus and been lead by mens works and became followers of men(religious/secular)
    men have turn
    church into a box
keep you bussy they out there cuz worried you get dirty (like the pharisees thought)
    theater lip service entertainment the
performers and audience come to speak/hear the truth/the gospel but most don't have the passions or character to want to live out the Gospel while a few do.
open your bible and read Jude it will speek more
    be a living active church
    be a salt in light
salt doesn't stay gathered up in a jar
then there wouldn't be an experience of the flavor
why gather more candles box better to spread them out cuz less space more heat (out of control, pride and jealousy) can cause fire.
take light where it needs to shine to the dark.

That’s not to say that I’m anti-church attendance because I do attend, but my point is the same, backbiting, lying, and various other things that happens outside of the church goes on in the church, and sometimes more. It doesn’t bother me as much in the world because that’s what you expect from them, but the church should be a safe place, and it’s not. Church hurt is real and we have to stop sweeping it under the rug. What’s the benefits if there is no difference?

And His true followers are now the temple, meaning your body. These "church" buildings are not God's and the Buble says that more than twice. People don't study and thats why they think calling themselves Christians and going to these buildings is right, but ITS NOT. When you find a church where the well dressed and the poorly dressed, the white, black, red all sit together, you found a place where God is pleased. A church where the Pastor, and other well dressed folks huddle ( usually in the front left side) and the Pastor’s wife comes in late and leaves early and only talks to a select few, there is nothing for you there. There are a few good churches. There are people in your neighborhood who would love to get together and honor God in worship and read His word. Many people are desperately seeking realness, authenticity and truth. We who come to Him must worship him in sincerity and truth. Not with hidden agendas if building funds and mission vacations.

no fellowship is going to be perfect but there are many good bible believing fellowships out there. these were some general considerations for attending a fellowship. what we do in our assemblies should be an overflow of what we do outside of our corporate worship services and as we are blessed we can also be a blessing to others in the community. knowing what is expected of us as believers, according to the Word of God will help us to pick a church based on His standards and principles. we also get out of fellowship what we put in. we don't go for the sake of it, to kill time, to be entertained or just for the sake of seeing friends. although these may sometimes be part of the equation the purpose of fellowship is in acts 2. to learn the apostles doctrine, edify ourselves and others and the worship with other believers however salvation is personal, just because other people are not serious about the time they spend in a service doesn't mean you can't connect with God right there.

People don't have to go to church for any of the reasons stated in this video.
People don't need to go to a church to contribute. Most in the church need to be home contributing to their own households and stop crying about their bill's not being paid. If they take care of home instead of giving all their resources to the church they could do better, but they are bewitched and don't know better.
People don't need another man or woman to teach their children ethics. Teach your own kids ethics and morals. Besides most of the people in church living raggedy lives pretending to be who they are not or just living without morals.
And Jesus never joined a church! Where is that scripturally??? I understand that the pastors needs income, but didn't have a job?? Wasn't he a carpenter and still ministered the gospel. What scripture states he took money from the people??? He gave.... The apostle took money, but didn't they split up everything that was taken in with the people (Acts)... So why isn't the pastors sharing the wealth with the flock???
Church is a den of thieves. Only the ones at top profit. Religion' is one of the best scams ever! Preaching partial of whats in the bible for self gain. Living non of the bible, but getting riches, fortune and fame.
Be spiritual and know the Creator for thyself! It's cheap and you don't have to live up to corporate (church) expectations. Paying dudes and preyed upon emotionally to give. Told you're going to hell and robbing God if you don't give... The Creator don't need money. Man does.

    • @thebeatagp
      @thebeatagp  7 ปีที่แล้ว

Great question Proof. So, the biggest point of confusion here is the fact that when Jesus was alive He Himself was still operating under the Old Covenant. Why? Because the New Covenant was not issued in with His life but only after He paid the price on the cross through His death. That is when the New Covenant kicked in. So, Jesus still observed the Sabbath along with other OT rituals. However, EVERYTHING changed once He offered the sacrifice for our sins on the cross.

    • @BibleAsk
      @BibleAsk 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

But, didn't God make the Seventh Day Sabbath holy from beginning of creation (Genesis 2:3)? Aren't we also going to keep it in Heaven (Isaiah 66:22-23)? After all, isn't the law there to tell us what sin is (Romans 7:7)? In fact, Revelation 12:14 tells us that the saints are those who 1. "Keep the Commandments" and 2. "Faith in Jesus". Christ in Matthew 5:18 confirms that nothing from the law will be dropped, and in verse 19 tells others not to teach that any of it has been done away with.

( Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 ) Breaking the Sabbath is sin!! Follow Jesus!! Maranantha

Your statement " Jesus went to the worship place on Saturday" will confuse people . They will think that seventh day Adventist are right about Sabbath day.
We meet on Lord's day. i.e. Sunday

    THE BIBLE COMMANDS CHURCH ATTENDANCE (UNLESS WE ARE SICK, HAVE A FAMILY EMERGENCY, ETC.);
Heb. 10.24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
10.25 *Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together* , as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. emphasis mine [KJV]

Church wasn't around in the beginning of Christianity it was underground (hidden) or on people's houses going to buildings is newer than you think. I won't go to church for a while due to all the spiritual abuse I've suffered judgement and hate I'll walk my faith by Romans 4:4-7 and John 3:16 verses alike and follow TH-cam videos that's my church till God puts me in the right church.

Where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name He is there, so He says in His word. I don't think church has to be a building full of hundreds and thousands of people. The smaller for me the better

Please brother do not feel compelled to worship God on a particular day. All the laws relating to the worship of God on a particular day and place went away with the Old Testament. So there is no structure or day that is relevant for worshiping God. Remember that Jesus told that woman at the well that the time is here when we shall not worship God "either on this mountain or in Jerusalem but in Spirit and in truth". So what is important now is to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Another thing is that don't worship God only on Sunday, Saturday or on any other day. Worship God every day in Spirit and in truth. All churches that have understanding don't worship on Sunday or Saturday only but they worship a number of days during the week. Remember that the early believers met every day in particular in the evening. Therefore do not be deceived to believe that there is any particular day for worshiping God. Coming together with believers is important in many ways including worshiping God, learning from each other, testifying about the goodness of the Lord, encouraging one another in the Lord but above all to partake in the breaking of bread which you can't do alone. Every Christian must break bread as a way of telling about the Lord's death and resurrection still He comes. In short the breaking of bread is the best way to preach. Amen
