This was frame 8 of the night. In the previous seven frames, he had already made 6 century breaks. Then he did that! Possibly the most impressive thing I've ever witnessed, absolutely pure genius.

Ronnie is the reason they started to pay next to nothing for a 147. He makes a 147 look so easy....and he even do it in some unimaginable timeframe. Ronnie is the best.

It's actually a great camera angle to see snooker in reality as opposed to the high up angle of e.g. the World Championship etc. I feel this gives you the real feel of what it's like playing the game. As for O'Sullivan - there are no words to describe his sublime, innate, genius - he is the greatest player that has ever played the game and an absolute joy to watch.

    What can you say?
It’s really very simple, GENIUS AT WORK.
Ronnie is every bit as good as any icon of world sport, Federer, Nicklaus/Woods, Tendulkar/Lara, Messi, etc. He is the very best snooker player ever, the most century breaks of all time, all done at ferocious speed, the most talent (plays right or left handed), the most entertaining, and he has maintained this standard for nearly 25 years, who else can compare to that?
If you asked anyone that watches or plays snooker the world over, who they would choose as the best, the vast majority would say Rocket Ronnie.
The man is a LIVING LEGEND!!!!!!

Brilliant how he stayed down South and cherry picked the reds using the black. I could be as good as Ronnie but I'd need to be asleep first.

would i be correct in saying this 147 does not count toward the Rockets recognized 147 total of 15 ? which begs the question just how many 147s he has actually scored

147 break is extremely hard to do. But he makes it look so easy.

42 people dislike this? What have they got against perfection?

It looks so easy. And you just don't remember that two seconds ago before Ronny's shot you had no idea what could you do on his place.

After this game Steve offered to play Ronnie for £1000 but Ronnie said "piss off son I haven't seen you play yet!"
