Final Update: Last time I shared with you that I already got a replacement retail version of the Rakk Tanaw and I promised to give you a long-term update. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for me to experience the same sudden spinout issue. 🥹 I have no idea why this keeps happening. I have like at least 2-3 other mice rotating right now for testing and I haven't encountered this issue and I also been using the same desk setup, same mousepad, etc for years without issue. So yeah, as much as I like to use it as my main Gaming Mouse because the shape, size, weight and features fits perfectly with my preference, I don't have the confidence to use it in Competitive matches. This is by far, the most frustrating Rakk product for me. It could have been the BEST! I suggest you thoroughly test yours for spinouts, display accuracy and connectivity issues. I love Rakk Gears, and you all know I always support them but hopefully, they improve their Q.A and RMA process. Still, kudos to the product development team (basically sir Myk) for taking the extra mile of helping those who are having issues.
Bought this mouse last Sunday, arrived with around 98% battery life. Used it heavily throughout the day (around 8 or so hours) and the battery life is currently at 79%. So confirming that the display for the stats is accurate / updating at the very least. No spinouts recorded as of now. (hopefully)
Good review! Mentions everything that needs to be mentioned and points out for potential biases. My G304 just died on me and I'm looking for similar alternatives. This review really helped. despite Tanaw's decent specs and price, it isn't for me unfortunately. Right now I'm kind of leaning towards the Razer Orochi V2
@@TechBroll okay then I'll get this one! Ty for the honest review. Hello! I think we have the same problem. Sometimes yung mouse ko is uncontrollable and gumagalaw ng kusa from time to time. Balak ko na siya ipa-warranty. Sana maayos nila 'to.
I wish Rakk can bring back the hot-swap mouse switches. This was the sole reason why I bought the Rakk Bulus, pero sad to see that they don't put hot-swap switches in their newer models. Can't recommend it to my friends anymore dahil di na available. Mouse switches are the first parts to break over time, phantom clicking, or unresponsive.
na-test niyo po ba yung quality ng scroll wheel if hindi siya same ng issue sa kaptan wireless? heavy user kasi ako ng scroll wheel for fps games, mahirap nang masiraan ulit agad ng ganun hahahaha
Medyo mahirap pa sabihin at this early stage eh, pero so far goods na goods para sakin yung scroll wheel. Ginawa daw nilang TTC Silver kasi yung may issue is yung TTC Gold nung nasa Kaptan Wireless
Update 2: After overnight of continuous usage, my Rakk Tanaw's battery level finally dropped to 70% and it's also charging properly. Things to note: 1. When you turn on the Rakk Tanaw, the battery level will initially show 100% then after a few seconds, it should show the correct value. 2. When you dock/charge the Rakk Tanaw, the battery level will initially show 100% then after a few seconds, it should show charging status with a lightning logo. It's totally usable kahit walang grip tape in my opinion, typical rubbery coating. Pero pag tagal for sure, mag shishine and dudulas din ito, so adding grip tape will definitely help with longevity sa coating.

Got an issue with Rakk Bulus na hindi nila mapalitan dhil wala ng stock. 1 year lang phase out na. Rakk has been replacing products lately with new ones and phase out almost every year. Hassle! 2 mos. counting and wala parin replacement item ko. Website rin ni Rakk di na lumalabas sa Google search, pinabayaan. tsk I have 3 of their mouse. Rakk Kaptan, Talan and Bulus. di matibay. puro siraan less than a year. I would'nt recommend Rakk unless may pagbabago sa product quality nila. Kahit Local warranty pa sila, wala rin silang ipapalit tas wala ding 1 year may sira na. They need to change their game kung ganyan. There's better priced chinese mouse and keyboard with the same features that Rakk offers. Sasabihin pa EasyFIx is One day process daw sa store nila. Joke ba sila?!
I agree. Rakk needs to improve not only yung RMA process nila but also yung mismong support and stocks for each and every models na nirerelease nila. Sinuggest ko na din sa kanila yun, na sana magkaroon sila ng guarantee na 2-3 years down the line sana may stock pa yung specific variants. Or perhaps, instead na mag release ng mag release ng new models eh mag come up with a sort of champion variant that they can support for long term. Risky sa part nila to store up stocks kasi eventually may lalabas na mas bago at mas pipiliin ng tao, so baka ma mastuck lang and di na mabenta aside from a few other reasons sa business side. Pero yes, at the end of the day, they need to change their process para magtiwala ang mga consumers. They have plans naman and kahit paano they listen. So crossing fingers that they will improve eventually.
Now, dipende nalang yan sayo kung ano ang mas trip mo sa kanila in terms of Shape and kung mahalaga ba sayo yung display and dock or kahit wala na yun
Sadly I can't recommend the Tecware that much anymore. My two tecware mouse (Elite and Elite pulse) both do spinouts and when I droped the pulse accidentally, the mouse wheel stopped working.
