Good piece! I use to buy the refurb Pro V’s! I hit the Wilson Triads, Inesis 900, Pro V’s, and several two piece for fun! Thanks
I may give the Inesis a try. Thank you!
232 yard drive. Love the content especially the reviews of more affordable gear. From NC USA
More on the way!
Nice video and very informative, thank you.
Thank you for watching!
I think we are going to have to put an asterisk behind that Mr. Short Hitter title. Looks like you were cooking them pretty good. I have been playing used balls for a long time. Many times getting quality balls for 50 cents to a dollar each. Depending on brand and AAAA vs. AAAAA. Sometimes I buy from individuals that hawk balls for exercise and/or extra income. It gives me the opportunity to play nicer balls then the bottom shelve stuff at Walmart. Bought some of those Precept Laddie balls. I read they are 35 compression. Last Saturday I hit a Pro V 1 x I found hitting 1970s Ping irons and Ping wooden woods. At my level of play I did not realize any spectacular improvement hitting a $6 ball with a hundred compression. I will be hitting my nine hole crawl on my birthday tomorrow. With my 1979 Ping Eye irons and 1979 Ping Eye woods. 63 tomorrow. Wooo, woooo.
Thank you so much for watching!
Impressive ball striking with the 6 iron!
I'm loving the new irons!
That logo they did for you is pretty f-ing sweet! Impressive! Drive-237.5
It is nice! Thank you!
Looks like you caught the drive pretty well. Even into the wind a bit, I’d say 243 yards and about 100ish left to the pin! Nice review, I think you pretty much summed up the the ball maybe make a bit of difference, but the player is still key
Thank you so much!
Awesome, I been hitting used for a couple of years, I buy 5A Mint, no use paying retail!
Thank you for watching!
The only concern I would have is how long the water balls were in the water. It's been shown that a ball can lose performance the longer it's under water.
But at least these are not the refurbished ones that get repainted and relabeled.
Yes, that is something impossible to know. I think after a long time they would become discolored. Thank you!
Last three drives looked solid.
New driver coming today. Video coming soon!
Really good comparison bud. Great vid.
Thank you!
Nice video! Those recycled balls sound like high quality for a great value.
I'll guess on the drive ... 242.
Thanks as always for the edutaining content 🙂 best wishes from Eric in Arkansas
Thank you Eric!
I have an idea for video. I think you should play round with an complete set hybrids and compare it against your irons for accuracy and distance.
That's a great idea. If I get my hands on a set I'll do it!
In the UK there is a plethora of used balls. In my experience the Lake variety of used balls can be a little hit and miss and there is no way of knowing what you are going to get. The problem is balls that have been in the water for months or longer perform less well than the new ball. There are many reports on that report flooded cores that is the reason for poorer performance. Balls that are only in the water for a few weeks are a lot better than the saturated ones. Other than lake balls, here in the UK we have the normally found balls, in the rough etc. These perform just like a new one in reality. The softer covered balls prov1, TP5, z star etc work just as well albeit they aren't as bright coloured as the new variety. The rest, isomer covered generally cannot be told apart from the new on looks and although I don't use them myself on a regular basis I have used them in the winter and found they fly and perform well enough or at least to what I was expecting. For the high handicappers Lake balls are a good alternative to buying new but for anyone who actually cares what they score I would think just go for a decent two piece new one. Only an opinion of course. Great review MSH
Thank you so much for the information and for watching!
I think you hit your driver 235 yards - Great Channel- Please keep it up!
Thank you!
Into the wind...Im going to guess 231. BTW- I got some recycled TM TP5's awhile back and they played great.
That's great! Thank you!
I'm guessing 241 yards. Great videos. I'd love to play as consistently as you. I only play par 3 courses now, I'm 76. Thanks.
I'm going to shoot a video at a par 3 course in a month or so. Thank you!
Last time I bought new golf balls was over 20 years ago. All my ProV1's are used. $50 a dozen vs $1 per ball? Easy math.
Thank you for watching! Check out Clean Green!
Into the wind sorry i would say 224 , thanks for the video and i will be looking at using those balls.....
Thank you so much!
228 is my guess into the wind. How are you getting along with that new putter? ⛳️
Thank you! I am putting as good as I have in many many years!
Loving the music 😉
Thank you so much for watching!
Let's say 222 for the drive into the wind. MyGolfSpy has some interesting data on recycled golf balls that is worth checking out. My game is not good enough for it to matter much though :)
Thanks Andy! I saw their video on how refurbished were bad but I haven't seen their thoughts on recycled. I'll check it out!
You hit 220 on a previous drive straight uphill. Since it was flat with a draw, I would guess another 15 yards at 235. 😁
Thank you!
Im going to take a Guess of 241 yards on that drive. Into wind it looks slightly uphill.
Thank you!
198 yards. Into that wind its not a bad rip.
Thank you for watching!
Great video. I am guessing 236!
Thank you!
238 on the drive. Pretty new subscriber and am enjoying the content.
Thank you James!
Let’s call it a smooth 220! Nice testing. How often do you play weekly?
Lately, the only golf I've been doing is shooting videos. If I can get out for 9-3 times a week that's pretty good unless I have a tournament.
@@mistahshorthitter before my accident, I was playing 18 twice a month and practice 2-3 times a week. Started my PT for my back today and went well. Hoping to start that motion soon but will be adapting a new mindset and swing. How you think it through is definitely a big part of my change….. course management!
@@StvRob76 That will DEFINITELY save you strokes! I hope my videos help!
Another great vid 💯; ima guess total distance was 230 👍🏿.
Thank you for watching!
Also going to guess 239 on the drive.
Thank you!
219, Canada. I wish i could hit a straight as you.
Thank you so much!
218 yds love the videos learning a lot

Thank you!
I guess the drive was 224
Thank you!
205 yards!
Thank you!
Well-struck ball, but I'm going to say 222 into that wind.
Thank you Brian!
I think recycled can be ok although urethane takes on water after about 6-12 hours. Second it’s good that they aren’t refurbished because when they repaint those the performance can be all over the place. Those may be ok to use for sure my only concern is water logged balls. There are some great articles out there about water balls. Didn’t seem to affect your performance too much though! but just my 2 cents on the topic! ⛳️🏌🏻♂️
You are correct Ian. One of the downsides is you do not know how long they have been under water. I believe they will get discolored over time. I wouldn't hesitate to use during a casual round unless discolored. Thank you for watching!
214
Thank you!
It’s when you get refurbished that tends to be crazy, they get cleaned and repainted, also tend to weigh more also.
You should compare recycled and refurbished.
Good idea! Thank you!
233 yards
Thank you!
I’m guess 229 yds
Thank you!

Drive was 218.
