He needed to exhaust the safety override when he drew it previously
You can't without a card that forces them to be played and exhaust, like Admin Deploy from Max. As those cards are unplayable normally.@@johnnytwotimes7854
The safety override is unplayable, it only gets removed from the deck at the end of combat.

This game is prime NL, he's pretty good, but can't fully calculate everything interacting, like with wildfrost. That means not only will i watch this religiously but i will also play the game, assuming i can do better, and i will consistently do so much worse. Peak NL.
I just did a run with Isaac and it was so impossible then I watch NL get a million cards for him that I never even saw and would have been super useful for my run so now I wanna play again. The cycle continues

What’s the replayability like on this? Are there “ascension” levels?
It looks like it's just the initial difficulty levels: normal, hard, harder, hardest.
Steam reviews say that it gets samey after a few hours because of lack of enemy and build variety
Is pretty repetitive, but basically you just win 18 runs and then never play again, and it's fun for that imo

i didnt think a run that made it to the cobalt couldve been worse than a run that ended after a few minutes but im still shocked at how awful that third run was, never change

@@WapfgamingI only play on hard bc I like not focusing, but Isaac is totally fine, as long as you take two of the starter characters every run is very easy unless you make a horrific misplay.
That said, most Isaac runs are p slow like this bc it's mostly tanking and chipping away. Though with Jupiter drone I've had some 30 DMG turns
@@GEM4sta Yeah I figured Isaac out and hes okay I suppose. The last 2 characters feel impossible to play though. I'm trying to win a run without any of the original crew and it feels like you need them to do anything. I can't even win on normal mode without them.
@@Wapfgaming yeah, I actually did lose my first two runs with the bottom 3.
Drake is basically total ass, he has like 1 decent card.
Max is ass too, but he has probably the most busted 2 card combo in the game "play card for free" and "all exhaust cards are free".
Basically you should upgrade that Max card to let you play anything for free, and then pray for attack squadron and battalion, and never take any max our drake cards, lol
@@GEM4sta Yeah Max seems really good with some of the other base characters. I feel like you almost need at least one or two of the base characters to play the game properly though. The final characters are just so janky and you need some normal cards from the base decks

yeah! there's a lot you can do with every class, and the devs are also very supportive of modding
