My bronze se535s don’t have that lil white filter. I bought them off eBay, I can’t see through the bronze color to see if there are triple drivers. They sound lil more bass than my older clear ones but a lil less highs. I’m nervous they may be fake.
dang...paid $150 on ebay and they are fakes according to this video. one case cracked open and it was a single driver with no filter. Live and learn. :(
Its true, one of my 535 cases just broke (again) but this time the armature came loose.. can see cracks on the other one as well.. really like how they sound and want to upgrade to 846 but the cheap plastic case is a ticking timebomb. They really should have used metal at such pricepoints. Thanks for the great videos!
Thanks for the comment! However beat up they are, they can still be repaired/reshelled as long as the driver is working fine. The newer 846 does not have this issue, the colored version onwards

$445 in USD equates to about $620 sgd before taxes and shipping. Of course there's retail outlets etc but out of the millions of consumers, what are the chances they will chance upon the millions of shops on ecommerce websites

The batch stamp at the base of the nozzle. Not having a damper is a tell tale sign

Woah.. no damper? No wonder it has single dd only. With cheapo dd, it would be muddy as hell if you put damper inside the nozzle.
Is the 535 and 215 housing are the same? Planning to change the color though :(
