If you don’t trade the pick beforehand, I’ve always found that drafting based off of value and BPA is better than drafting off of need. You can always facilitate a trade later with your surplus positional players.

The other owner also has the 1.02 and will be taking nabers since he’s stacked at qb and I’m taking Marvin at 1.01 so this secures me Caleb Williams also. I now have 1.01, 1.03, 1.04, 1.05 and 1.07 to add to my core of stroud, Bryce young, achane, chase, arsb and waddle. Have 2 25 firsts as ammo for a mid season trade for another rb if my rookies hit and I can compete this year after rebuilding for 2 years.

So im in a superflex league and it just started so i dont have a bad team.... Do we think caleb williams is at his Max value ? I love him as a prospect. I have Joe Burrow and Anthony Richardson but my other qbs are darnold and stidham so I sorta need a QB but If I trade the 1.01 I also want a top end WR. So it's tough to decide what to do with this pick. My thoughts were to take caleb because of Burrow and ARs history but that will cut into maximizing my roster. On the other hand if caleb turns out to have a year like stroud then his value will go up and I could always try and trade AR or Burrow instead of caleb. My problem is the price that I want is probably to steep. I'd want either a top 5 rookie pick + a starting QB but with it being a startup no one really has multiple 1st round picks. So what do u guys think here

Absolutely don’t force need, you’re likely going to hammer wr value at the top and punt RB to 2025, ideally you hit on those young WRs and you can hit RB hard next year as opposed to trying to build a fraud contender rn
I'm reading that Bowers is considering not working out at the combine. Personally, I think that's going to hurt his draft capital considering all the speculation around him lacking the size to be anything resembling a traditional TE. Also, not knowing the most importsnt TE factors which are speed and broad jump I think will cast some doubt on an NFL team spending a top 20 pick on him. Perhaps he would intend to make up for it at his Pro Day.

Well in SF formats it's pretty simple, you grab Caleb and Marvin and then at 1.06 hopefully Daniels/Nabers/Odunze - 2.02 should be a honeypot for Worthy/Franklin/Thomas/McConkey types

Absolutely don’t force need, you’re likely going to hammer wr value at the top and punt RB to 2025, ideally you hit on those young WRs and you can hit RB hard next year as opposed to trying to build a fraud contender rn
I'm reading that Bowers is considering not working out at the combine. Personally, I think that's going to hurt his draft capital considering all the speculation around him lacking the size to be anything resembling a traditional TE. Also, not knowing the most importsnt TE factors which are speed and broad jump I think will cast some doubt on an NFL team spending a top 20 pick on him. Perhaps he would intend to make up for it at his Pro Day.

Well in SF formats it's pretty simple, you grab Caleb and Marvin and then at 1.06 hopefully Daniels/Nabers/Odunze - 2.02 should be a honeypot for Worthy/Franklin/Thomas/McConkey types
