    I blame Steve Kerr’s terrible coaching during FIBA 2023 for Walker’s blip this season.

      Please don’t remind me, I CAN GO ON AND ON ABOUT HOW TERRIBLE Kerr managed that roster

      Cant agree more. Kerr dont know more than one style to play basketball.

    Trading him, unless Jazz receives a ridiculously good offer doesn't make much sense for rebuilding/ tanking team.

      Fair play

    It’s been said that the Jazz don’t want to trade Kessler, like they aren’t shopping him around. But he’s not untouchable either and if they were to make a big trade then they wouldn’t be against including Kessler.

      Reasonable Danny Ainge action with the roster moves per usual I suppose.

    what do they think they can get for him after a so so season? He probably isn't a starting big on a championship team but if you get rid of him, you need a backup center. so what do you gain?

    • @wraithhoops
      @wraithhoops  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Doesn’t make sense to do unless you see something ridiculously tantalizing in the draft that presents itseld as a better passer or a defensive big with softer hands I suppose

    I love WK. But it would be awesome to trade him to Washington for the 2nd pick. Then pick Castle. And then with the 10th pick, Draft Zach Edey at 10.

      Ngl, I would not be mad at this at all. I NEED Castle in my life

    I doubt they're actively shopping him, but would rather have a bit of competition between their young centers. I think more than likely this means they're really trying to offload John Collins this summer to make room for Flip vs Kessler.

    dont see the point of trading him too. we have an offensive center (Collins), a defensive center (Kessler) and rebounding monster (yes, Yurt has crazy good rebounding stats). on the position of a center we are good. the problems are with other positions mostly on SF where we have nobody worth to be a starter, while sensebaugh or juzang are good enough to be your 3rd option.

    • @finnishview2933
      @finnishview2933 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Juzang... He is so useless. Sensabaugh was bad too but he is rookie. Maybe he may sit end of the bench one more year before kick him out of the league.

      Wing depth is our greatest fault I must agree, literally makes me want to puke sometimes. I miss Fontecchio even if he wasn’t perfect🥲

      comments are really good here. I'm mostly a 76er fan. One of their targets was Paul George, most people trashed the idea that they were going after him (too old, empty stats, etc) When it came out George isn't interested, they were all angry...

      I respect it, especially if he turns into a draft pick that turns into Castle

    I must say that its not good fit to trade him to spurs. It would be really interesting see him and wemby together in defence. How good they can be, it may be worth of watching how that would work. Problem is that spurs need 3pt shooter and point guard more than they need center. ofc if they can get Walker and 3pt wing and point guard, why not do it.

    Just validates what I have been saying. Immobile, non offense centers are a thing of the past. Kessler has bad hands, can't seem to get his balance, can't hold the ball one handed, gets pushed around a lot. He seems like a great kid, but he doesn't have a good motor.

      It would seem that way, love the filipowski pick already. Just finished a few vids about it for the next couple of days

    I see one reason for trading walker for picks, if jazz considers getting Drummond from free agents.
    Btw wraith: I'd love to hear your opinion on possible free agents that jazz could try to sign and jazz fit for my wishlist that would be: Drummond, prince, reddish, oubre and m. Bridges

    I blame all these trade rumors flying around as the effect of having Danny Ainge as your GM. With Danny as your GM, people think their teams can get really good pieces for peanuts. I can understand that anyone can be had….. for the right price, but these rumors are starting to annoy me.

    • @wraithhoops
      @wraithhoops  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah it’s especially hard to sift through the weeds when we can’t really trust complete transparency to come from our own front office

    • @finnishview2933
      @finnishview2933 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Like or not, rumors are always around tank teams. I also would prefer transparency but it is what it is.
      I must say that trade deadline deals last season was very bad for those who did belive that hard work for the team and team play will be rewarded. Those trades did generate more rumors because nobody know now is there any plan or not.

    I can buy it, Blocker Kessler's scoring and shooting has not been great. Going to need a new center though. Best scenario would be a Sengun type center who can distribute the ball.

    • @wraithhoops

      You make a really good point especially taking into account the type of replacement that would be necessary

      Those guys are rare. Center who can pass well enough. If there ever be one availiable, everyone want him. He aint coming to utah.

    DLO, Lewis, jalen hood and 2 picks for sexton and Kessler. How about that

    • @wraithhoops
      @wraithhoops  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I hate that I might actually entertain that, but I don't want to see Sexton go :(

    Trade Walker is good for Walker. I mean, jazz will tank long time. Why keep Walker in utah? Maybe someone who compete need center. He will be good player, i really like him. But jazz still should trade him like jazz do for every good players. He is not perfect but he is good enough for good career and can be piece of championship team in the future.
