Loved the video, in some ways you remind me of the fictional character John Burns from the legendary 1962 western film lonely are the brave staring Kirk Douglas .
Leroy I’ve rode for 25 years but those trails out west scare me on the narrow places and along the supersteep slopes how do you overcome that fear ? Do I just trust the animals
Just trust your mule. He won't do something if he doesn't think he can do it without getting hurt. He will take care of himself as well as you. So STAY CALM, RELAXED, and enjoy the scenery.

Thanks. I do video my hunts but unfortunately they weren't much of a hunt. Two yrs. ago my hunting partner got hurt, got to hunt about 3 hrs. Had to bring him home. This yr. hunted about 3.5 hrs. and got snowed out! (30 ins) We don't see grezz in CO. Yet! I think my little 4 yr. old has a lot of potential. I'm going to keep her and see how she develops.
I mention the mountain ranges but I guess I don't mention the state. It was Colorado, the San Juan's out of Ouray. The West Elk Wilderness is North of Hwy 50 between Gunnison & Montrose.
