The Rae Dual zip crossbody bag was exclusively released through the Bag of the Month Club as the featured design for October. It won’t be available as a stand alone pattern on our website until January. If you’re interested in getting it now, head over to bagomc.com to subscribe, otherwise we will send out an email when it’s available in January ☺️
Just watched your tutorial and can't wait to make this bag, you make it look doable! I generally use faux leather and WPC but am thinking perhaps my first one should be quilt cotton or WPC exterior and quilt cotton interior. Than you so much for creating an amazing pattern, well done!. I got mine through Bag of the Month Club.
Thank you so much! Yes I would definitely do a practice one in lighter materials and see how it goes before jumping into using materials that are thicker and less forgiving if seam ripping is needed.
Ohhhhhhh your hair is simply glorious. I adore your curls. The color too. Oh yeah I like the bag, too. Lol I'm just admiring your beautiful hair.. the bag is a great size and it looks fun too
Thank for the Amazing Video tutorial!!!! Never have I tried the binding method.....but you changed my mind!!I The pattern is one I will absolutely make again and again!! Thank you!
Good to have a D ring on either side - can use karabiners to clip the bag to your belt loops, added security, and takes weight off the shoulders, especially if you're carrying a tote bag on your shoulder. .
This was great! A beautiful bag and a terrific tutorial! Thank you for all the time and effort you put into this so we can be successful in sewing this pattern.
What a pretty and functional bag! I do like binding and I will have to try this method. And FYI, Lauren Mormino uses a small screwdriver instead of a stiletto when binding. I’ve not tried it but the screwdriver seems to keep the pleats away by holding down a greater amount of fabric. Congratulations on another great pattern!
Thanks! Until the end of the month, it’s exclusive to the Bag of the Month Club here: bagomc.com. It will be available as a stand alone pattern on my website in January.
I am going to be in the states at the end of October and would like to buy the webbing and hardware and have it sent to my family. Is there a list anywhere I can access?
This season of the Bag of the Month Club is now over (it ended the end of Oct). I will have this pattern available as a stand alone pattern in January on my own website.
Long story short, 3 of my testers ended up having their zipper panel be too narrow despite being certain they did an accurate SA. I was at a total loss because it was a perfect fit for me (or I only needed to trim a scant ⅛” off each side for all my test makes) as well as all my other testers and their zipper panels. BUT since they had to redo their entire zipper panel being too narrow, I decided after this video, to add a ¼” to each zipper panel side so people would have to trim down instead of redo that entire section 😵💫. Unfortunately all these new fancy speciality zipper tapes aren’t as standard in width as they once were. Some I’m finding to be a little less than 1 ¼” wide and others almost 1 ⅜” wide! 😮. When it comes to a gusseted bag, these things end up being a big problem.
For now, it can only be purchased through the Bag of the Month Club subscription (includes 3 new patterns from 3 different designers for $22). It won’t be available as a stand alone pattern on my website until January.
When will this pattern be available?

Think I need this pattern! I hope it comes with svgs? And I love the little labels!
Where can I get the Rae bag pattern, it’s fabulous, thanks for such a great tutorial

I’m going to make it with waxed canvas exterior and water proof canvas for interior. Do you suggest interfacing the waxed canvas?
No I wouldn’t.
I see your on a juki. Will you be showing the sail rite machine?
The pattern I designed for my retreat will be released later this month and I filmed it using the sailrite ☺️
Where can I get a kit. I need this in my life

I can’t wait to get started, i can’t decide on materials 🤦🏾♀️
Choosing materials is always the hardest part for me too 🥴
How wide is your zipper tape?
Mine is 1 1\4” wide so it added half a inch to the zipper gusset 🤔
Long story short, 3 of my testers ended up having their zipper panel be too narrow despite being certain they did an accurate SA. Thank you for getting back to me!
Which Juki are you using and what weight thread? TIA ❤
lol, if you click the video description those 2 are mentioned in the first sentence 😉. Juki TL 2000qi with tex 45 bonded poly thread.
What size needle are you using?
Ahh I gotta get a heavy duty sewing machine 😢
Why is that? As you can see in my video, I’m using a domestic machine.
What kind of clips are you using? (The long ones)
The metal rainbow ones? I got those from geekyhardware.com.
How can I get the pattern it’s not on your site 😢
Sorry, it was exclusive to the Bag Of the Month Club Aug-Oct. I can’t release it on my website until January. So keep a look out!
@ thank you for the information I will love your bags 😄
Can we still get the October subscription?
Yes! You can join the club until the end of the month and get all 3 patterns. Head to bagomc.com to sign up.
@@LindsHandmadeDesigns just signed up. Thanks so much
My middle name is Rae so I’m going to pretend that you named it after me 😉
Awww. ☺️
What are your snips called?
I don’t understand the question 🫣. I call them snips too.
@@LindsHandmadeDesigns where did you get them. I really like how close you can snip
@@kathiesteffke5608my little pink ones? I got those from moremeknow.com.
Если выкройка платная дайте хотябы размеры деталей не у всех есть возможность покупать ваши выкройки
You have to buy the pattern to get the dimensions. That's the point of a paid pattern. No one owes you a free pattern.
Is the pattern available
For now, it can only be purchased through the Bag of the Month Club subscription (includes 3 new patterns from 3 different designers for $22). It won’t be available as a stand alone pattern on my website until January.
