I just bought the same machine. 2008 model with 2100 hrs. I agree, the quick coupler is a pain. Mine is worn out and sloppy. Will be building it up with some weld to try and tighten it up. Also, parts and service are quite a bit more expensive compared to other brands. All in all, the machine is solid.
Yes, the machine is very solid but I agree, parts are crazy expensive! The service guys at the local JD dealership had to add some weld to my locking bar and its held up pretty well so far.
I have always considered the back bar the Wedge in this bucket setup, I enjoyed the wedge but mine was tighter then yours I wonder if your wedge is worn out allowing you to have slop now.
Yeah the wedge was worn and that was the main reason for the slop though the pins and bushings were a little worn too and would probably need replacing soon. I sold this machine last year though but I really did enjoy having it! Thanks for watching Dave!
You are correct, thank you! I forgot to mention that as that is not something I have personally done but I know the service techs at the JD dealership have needed to do that on occasion for service to my machine.
Did u have to switch out the joystick when u added the thump. I had to replace mine and the factory grip/joystick had no control for thumb control so not sure where to get part. Thanks for run through.

No I didnt, the joystick already had the button it just needed the thumb. Let me know if you have any other questions!
