    I was let go from my sponsor recently. Fortunately my fiancée is on the site side so I went there, but I think these sponsors and CROs are going to quickly realize that the best labor for trials is still here in the US and that's why we charge a premium.

    I work at a CRO a number of the departments are short staffed and the only resources theyre getting approvals for are the cheaper countries. No US positions are being posted. To keep timezones, they're having to go to South America because the US is too expensive according to management.

    Yeah, the last part of the video spoke to me. I've been too comfortable as a PMA. I need to run after those opportunities to become a CRA.

    I am a CRA. Will they lay us off?

    Very interesting video, I only wish I discovered your videos weeks ago. Although I’ve been in several roles they all boiled down to support roles. After 27 years to be let go hits hard. Thank you for your video. I’ve often thought about pursuing a CRA role any suggestions

      Hi, if you don’t mind me asking what role did you have and was the company able to give you severance package for your layoff?

    This is very interesting, thank you!!
    I left the CRO World AUG 2023. I started my own consulting company, but I do need to do better at finding contracts for myself.
    I'm an RN, so I thought I may look at getting into legal consulting too to supplement while I'm not finding any research contracts.

      Hi, did you enjoy Icon and did they give you a notice and reason why you were laid off?

    • @hamilro44
      @hamilro44 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@redapplegreenapple8847yes, I was legacy PRA. ICON recently took over about 3 years ago. Great company to work for. The layoff was not expected but we were notified a month in advance. We all know how fast time flies. Definitely, wish I had made different choices.
