During editing they mix n match the scenes depending on the joke made. They’ll use the live audience reactions mixed in with a laugh track. For serious scenes they only use the takes without the audience. Netflix films most of their sitcoms on the Warner Bros lot btw. Every weekday they have a free first come first serve rule for the live tapings for “One Day At A Time”. Tho you had to apply online for the free tickets. You go through a screenings process to sort out the crazies but it’s fairly easy to get in.
Would love to be a part of this show seems like a really fun place and crew to be a part of. Also Rita is an amazing actress never knew that was a fake accent!
