I've been having great success with a secret mage list that cuts lackey, adds iceblock, runs the 4/4 deal 6 and ETC w/dawngrasp and a couple other options. I also run orion and the 2 mana dude that lets you discover a secret from another class. You can win a lot of games by protecting orion with 1 secret on turn 4 or 2 secrets on turn 5 + whatever you already had on the board. Casting dawngrasp and getting 3-5 secrets back + a second ice block is also a backbreaker and gives you a surprising amount of resilience in grind-ier matchups
I ran Dawngrasp back when the deck was playable. Recasting Counterspell and Explosive Rune was enough to make the opponent's head spin. The hero power also gives the deck better reach right when all the broken expensive cards start to appear.
I know people hate this deck but I think it's actually fun, despite being secret mage it doesn't use infinite ice blocks, and it plays a lot like Blue color in Magic, a control deck really different from what we have today
Secret Mage is probably the only deck against which I will always concede instantly. Mainly because of the "Is it counterspell or objection?" problem. The deck forces you to either constantly play around those which is a miserable experience and screwes your whole turn or to not play around anything which turns your plays into a coin toss. And even the tech cards are way to inefficient to counter secret mage...
