As a mother of a deceased American Army veteran (from brain damage received in Iraq), I appreciate this quote: "Pat Tillman abandoned the pursuit of personal wealth to embrace a life of service, whereas Harry abandoned a life of service to pursue personal wealth."
This award could and should go to an American. We have many military service members who deserve it, as well as people like Gary Sinise, and Trace Atkins, who do so much for our wounded veterans.
