UNICEF estimates that in the East Asia and Pacific Region, 90 million children and adolescents are overweight or obese, including 11 million kids under five.
A landmark collaboration between the East Asia and Pacific Regional Office of UNICEF and GLOBE, the Global Centre for Preventive Health and Nutrition at Deakin University’s Institute for Health Transformation (IHT), is tackling the growing epidemic of childhood and adolescent obesity head-on.
