What a great attraction this was. Once, after a wild roller coaster adventure, we boarded some of the calmer things that looked like a movie theater. We did not realize at the time that this was an on-ride attraction when we saw the preceding movie. Until we saw the Gremlins. Really a nice experience. Too bad this has disappeared .... And yes, I know it has to do with the rights of WB.
Went on this when I was a little kid, had been wondering in which park this was, and now I know it was in Movie park where I went to 5 times in the last 3 years! I remember that it was such a nice sunny day when me and my mom entered the queue. when we got out, it was storming, the streets of the park were flooded and we had to hide in the aftershow building. I remember that I thought that it was the work of the gremlins hahaha. Damn this attraction scared the f out of me then!
I wish there was a better quality version of the Australian (English language) version up, with Beetlejuice instead of ALF. There is a video clip of it on TH-cam, but not as good as this one.
We understand that, at that age, or at any age, dark rides, gremlins, or even animatronics can be scary 🎢👻🤡 Thank you for watching and sharing your experience 👍🎥
Hmm.. I always thought Gremlins was in the Endless Story with the Rapid Waterride... Now there is Van Helsing in it. Thanks for that! I always wanted to see how Gremlin Invasion is... Gonna go there next week again.
The Australian one I grew up with had a very different film, it was all much slower paced. All of it was in black and white I think maybe except the introduction, which was not by Sandra Bullock but I can't remember who it was. I remember the bit where Ronald Reagan can't put the pants on went for ages, like multiple takes of him messing it up.
Alf's hair on the ride is way too shaggy. Messes with the continuity of the pre-ride footage. I'm kinda surprised the American Warner Brothers Studios hasnt made an attraction like this...or even their own movie themed park to compete with Universal for that matter.
@@WackyWeazle maybe? But as much as I think the world wouldn’t care for this attraction I would love to see if they can make this sometime now or in the future
Hearing alf speak in german...priceless!!! 🤣🤣🤣
ALF was really popular in Germany.

Thanks for posting this since without this we would have no footage of this ride.
You're welcome! 👍
Oh the memories, I remember going on this when I was young.
Indeed, so sad they replaced this.
Ohh no, Gizmo was missing at the end, He used to be on the hood of that truck thing Alf was in where everyone exited the ride cars.
The film wrapped around one of the victims is gone too...now he's levitating.
Well duh! What's the first rule about raising a mogwai again?
They hate bright lights! Sunlight will kill them!
Maybe Alf thought Gizmo was a cat
Warum gibt's das nicht mehr in Deutschland ☹? Das war ne Bahn mit ALF und den GREMLINS!
Thanks for posting!
Quality's pretty good, all things considered.
Thanks, much appreciated!

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm glad we brought back those memories.
Alf is the best part:)
War damals eine tolle Anlage. Bin ich damals mit Saisonpass bestimmt hunderte Male gefahren.
Thanks for the upload. They had one like this at Movie World, Gold Coast (Australia). Went on it as a kid for a birthday. Ah memories.
Cheers.
My favorite movie: gremlins
Favorite show:ALF
This is everything I’ve ever wanted
It's a shame they got rid of this attraction; we still miss it.
@@WackyWeazle it really is
Thanks for the memories :)
Love this! Wish I had a chance to ride this :(
I want this ride back!!

hatte vor dem gremlins als kind angst :-(
Ehrlich😂, ich hab sie geliebt
Richtig geil
xD I was soooo traumatized as a kid, and when I see this, I understand why xD I think I was 5 or 6 back then.

Enjoy your visit. I still miss this ride and all the other WB theming/attractions everytime I'm there

Ben Cheshire Goldie Hawn
The bit with Ronald Reagan as John Lawrence trying to put his pants on is from John Loves Mary (1949).
Wait, that was President Reagan?!
@@Thoralmir Yes, it was.
Greetings! May I use this footage in a video I'm making about bizarre dark rides? I will give your channel full credit.
Sure, with credits and a link, no problem. Love your channel btw. Looking forward to the video 👍
4:05 did the gremlin Killed Alf?
No
It was amazing fun back in the day. Wish to go return to this but it is not available now I don’t think. :(
They sure were good times.
memories memories 🥰
Zo jammer dat dit weg is.
Damn I miss the times when Six Flags had a European division
We do too
Now they need to get a park in Japan...
Als wäre es gestern gewesen.
アルフだ!
The pre-show is missing a lot of clips and not complete!
3:48, Gordon Shumway?
#gremlins
So, what films did they use exactly?
karl eichholtz Gremlins & ALF (Even Though I Know This Comment It Was 4 Years Ago)
@@drizzlybeast53remade20 At the beginning of the ride, there's an outtake montage, and it had films such as Batman Returns in said montage.
I went on it when i was a little kid not the best idea :'D i came crying out of it. My mom thought it was fun for a kid of 5/6 years old haha xd
+lizsj derp :) Great Story. Thanks for sharing this.

I also felt his fur was off 😆
@@WackyWeazle Yeah, Alf has a specific hairdo, but on the ride part, he looks like he's wearing a shaggy blond wig😅😂
Why the hell is Alf in this ride?
Alf was very popular in Germany, so they decided to use him instead of Beetlejuice.
umm...... well that was...... Something. why does Warner Brothers hate Gremlins 2? its such an improvement!
Because it didn’t do well at the box office, it was a failure. But they are going to make a new reboot I’m hearing soon.
Why didnt this come to America like six flags or universal
That's a good question. Maybe the rights for IP use in the US were too expensive???
@@WackyWeazle maybe? But as much as I think the world wouldn’t care for this attraction I would love to see if they can make this sometime now or in the future
WHAT the FUCK is Alf doing there?
