i absolutely adore how much happier Anya's demeanor is here!! like of course she's in a better mood since her abuser is out of commission, but i feel like this artist's interpretation of her actual personality outside of Jimmy's perception of her is always very accurate, i love seeing a more lighthearted, even sarcastic side to her :')

Its more bittersweet I guess this way. Like how Carol & The End of the World will end with the Earth colliding with the asteroid, but everyone got to live their last months together better than how they started.

Since the narrative of the game slowly clues you in on jimbo's actions you have a sense of cautious optimism throughout the game that is slowly pulled apart by the narrative
In this case since I already know what's going to happen to them I'm just quietly praying that they will come out all right even though I know they won't

Probably because if that would happend Curly would take Jimmy's place in begin the one how would "go insane" even with Anya's help. And let's not forget she's pregnant so she will die for sure cuz that's wat started all of this. Jimmy's orginal crime. Im pretty sure if she would commit suicide. (which I'm not so sure she wanted) I think she was trying to give herself an abortion and it lead to sepsa and killed her.
Im sure even in this au After Anya's death Curly would be the one to go crazy. Or maybe he would be the one to go into vent's instead of Daisuke and end up wounded and dead or he would overdose on mouthwash. And Swansea would spare the last reamining cryopod for Daisuke, who would go back to Earth and end up so traumatized that he would never leave his parent's attic ever again.

This Au may seem happier but let's be real. In this au Curly would take Jimmy's place. Of course he would be way more competent and would probably had a change of heart and help Anya, trying to make sure she will in case of need get the last remaining cryopot. But I think she would probably not survive because of her pregnancy, and I think her death would be a breaking point for Curly. And Jimbo would be the one beated up for all of this. Maybe even eaten? All tho idk who would be brave enough to eat Jimmy.

I feel like captain Curly would make sure everyone at least made it out of the tulpar alive. Even if Anya didn't make it back to earth. He'd see to them being rescued.
Also, in the early stages of pregnancy it's actually very easy to kill the baby if you need to without killing yourself. Usually using meds or alcohol. She'd still get very sick and would likely become depressed for a while after, but it is possible.
