Seit über 40 Jahren höre und brauche ich PROGROCK wie Muttermilch! Von KAIPA kannte ich bis vor Kurzem nur den Namen. War eben so eine Band aus Schweden, die da im Norden - neben den FLOWER KINGS - auch am PROGEN ist. Kann ich ja irgendwann mal reinhören... Genau das habe ich nun vor einigen Wochen getan ... und mir mit totalem Entzücken innerhalb weniger Tage (!) fast alle Alben gekauft! ... Himmel, was ist mir da in der Vergangenheit entgangen! ... So gut! ... Instrumental, gesanglich und vor allem das unfassbar geile Songwriting von diesem HANS LUNDIN! ... Ganz großes Kompliment! Die Band müsste Stadien füllen und rauf und runter im Radio laufen... aber die Leute hören lieber ... ach, lassen wir das...
The Brits who created prog in the 70's can finally rest, it was all worthwhile, someone took over and took it further.
Sattyg is one of my all-time favorite albums!! Incredible!! Never gets old!!

The melodies and harmonies are inspired and beautiful. The two lead vocalists distinctive and passionate. Each instrumentalist is very accomplished. Amazing lead guitar solos. Creative bass lines flowing like fresh water in a mountain stream. Great keyboard & synthesizer. The drummer is strong & precise. Love this band! Their entire catalog of albums deliver rich, creative compositions that transcends genres and labels.
New album coming out next month. Thank you, Kaipa! Your music makes a lot of people happy!

Upptäckte den här videon och albumet idag. WoW!!! Fy fan vad bra! Såg er (dvs den version av Kaipa som fanns på 70-talet) på Herrgår'n i Linköping och tyckte ni var jättebra då. Spelade er i mitt radioprogram på Närradion (Radio Ryd). Men detta är SÅÅ mycket bättre! Jag blir så glad, nu har jag något nytt, riktigt bra att lyssna på! Tack Kaipa och Tack Hans Lundin!

Although I've heard of them before, this is honestly my first time listening to Kaipa. I'm so impressed. I hear elements of my favorite Prog Rock/Metal groups. Yes, Rush, Deep Purple, Dream Theater, etc... These guys are phenomenal.
The last time when I had such a moment of epiphany was when I discovered Transatlantic ! Amazing indeed!
they are totally diferent than the groups you mention imo. Their unique style doesnt feel like nothing else is actually what made me really interested with every album they released. Cuz i knew it's gonna be them.
this is one of the best 25 albums ever recorded. Easily.

I'm blown away.. I listened a lot them in the late 70s.. saw them live many times but i lost track of them..stumbled on this clip when i researched Strandberg guitars...this is soo amazingly good...not often i'm proud to be Swedish but u give me hope :)

Never in my life have I enjoyed both a group. I admit, I am full metal and perhaps they would not have met me with this band had it not been for a friend spend my album Sattyg and said: Hey got to hear this ... Waoooo that was as a direct crush at heart, I am he listened to the album a month ago every day, sometimes I put my other groups like Ophet, Therion and others but incredibly I return to play the album again, so much so I wanted jejejejeje influence even my wife. Well anyway, I'm hooked on Kaipa and I have already downloaded the other albums. They have a true fan from the Dominican Republic, a Caribbean island infected shit music and thanks to my headphones puedon dive into your world beautiful and well tuned ... Thanks for providing such excellent music.
And you will keep coming back to their albums over and over.. i never get tired of them ;)

One of the best modern Prog Rock albums . The ONLY reason it isn’t is that not enough Prog Rockers have heard it. Yeah everybody has heard Yes, Genesis, ELP, porcupine Tree, etc etc etc but not this band. Open your minds everybody

Don't usually go for mixed vocals but both vocalists are excellent and more importantly, original. So many great tracks. Trying to find the cd is the hard part.
