Watermelon Queen: thank you for viewing my video and your comment. I took the MTR. On race days, there is a special train that stops at Sha Tin instead of Fo Tan. It will actually say it is going to racecourse (I think usually every other train or 1 out of the every 3 trains). On that train, you can even have a first class seat for something like HKD50, where you actually get a seat instead of just the regular cars. I found it quite convenient but I went quite early so it wasn't crowded. I took a taxi home but that was pretty expensive so I would suggest the MTR. My only advice is to go and leave early so that you avoid the crowds on the MTR. Good luck! Please like, subscribe and keep watching. Cheers!
smiley: there is no specified time. I think normally first race is 1 pm (check website) but there is usually 9-10 races so no rush. I like to get there early and see the first race but with a race every 30 minutes, most people don't get there until the 3 race (like 2:30 pm) so that is the height of the crown. Some people leave after the 6th race (like 5 pm) so it is quieter then. Have fun. Cheers!
What is the best way to get to Sha tin? 😁 I’m thinking of going tomorrow!
