I am learning to survive with my other kids accepting their future can only be directed by them and there is little i can do with my advices and so on. Good luck to all parents, we are no longer making a difference on their life. Excellent interview and person.
Doesn't matter because they only live in the now, and think it will never happen or catch up to them. A lot of the lost children we have could be saved but the system is designed to do the opposite. Soon as prison became profitable, the same people promoting the prisons lobbied to get rid of programs to mitigate the pipeline and also lobbied for longer prison sentences. There is no corrections conducted in the correctional system at all.
Never committed a crime but my parents fucked me up. I woke up in my 30s and realized I squandered my youth. Now all my wisdom will be to regret my first 3 decades. Ppl who are born into a shit situation waste so many years through ignorance and blindness. Then they see the error of their ways via other ppl but sometimes it's too late. Then you just carry the weight of lament.
You're reminding me of me, tbh. But let's continue to hope and be thankful to God that we even got that wakeup/realization. Some never ever get to wake up. Now, I'm trying to better my life and praying to God direction. Everything upstairs is so blank that I have no idea what to do with my life. But because the Good Lord listens when we call upon Him, eventually the Heavens will open up for me with His Grace, Mercy, and Favour. I hope and wish the same for you. Stay blessed.

My pops was in jail when I was born, was in and out a majority of my childhood. I saw people try to kill him, swat surrounded our house taking him out when me and my sibs were kids. I knew very young that life wasn't for me. I'm married with 5, kids, own a business, and am working to break the cycle for my kids. Stay blessed bro, maybe your job is your message

Reminds me of my nephew. A bad actor for real . I wooped his butt I showed him love but for some dam reason the boy was destined to be prison bound. Well he and some friends set out one night and robbed a gas station killing the clerk in the process. It was over for him . LIFE behind bars. I miss the boy. He asked me to not come visit him anymore. Im in my 60s now and hes now in his late 40s. Sometimes i wonder if i could have done more for him . Sometimes i blame my self for failing him . I miss u a lot nephew.. my heart has been broken for years now. 😞
Imagine the clerk family..
man thats tough. even if you did more, he prolly would end up in the can. like you said, prison bound. but i wonder why he said no more visits , shame?

sometimes these people forget, when you hurt others, not only do you hurt the victim and their families, but also your own family. i would be broken if a family member i was close to was imprisoned.
I pray our brotha survives & comes home soon a NEW MAN 🙏🏾
HE IS A NEW AND BETTER PERSON TODAY YOU CAN HERE IT IN HIS VOICE AND MOST OF ALL YOU CAN SEE IT IN HIS EYES
Best life advice I got was never from my OGs who did or still have time🤷🏿. It was from a free man who worked honestly and served his people with a good heart
Amen bro keep God's love inside you and spread that. Paul was in jail and he preached God's love. Praying for you charles
I believe men that have a drastic change like this… should be given a second chance at life. You can see a genuine spirit
They should have a PROGRAM for these types of inmates that YOU KNOW are NOT GOING TO BE A THREAT TO SOCIETY. BLESS UP 🙏
First few seconds I can tell, someone was casting curses on him. He is a genuine good man, he so relaxed, he should have a go on the microphone, I enjoy listening to him talk
I’ve got a friend who’s been in prison since he was 18. He’s 58 right now. It doesn’t look like he’s getting out either. Good guy too
It's inspiring that he can see and appreciate the positive potential in himself and appreciate others who support him. Negative peer influence among young people can wreck lives.
Guy had a loving dad and still chose the streets.
Goes to show you it's not always the parents fault. At the end of the day people make their own choices.
Two parent without the ability to discipline means nothing. Our people need to realize we’re an eastern culture people Hebrew discipline of the home is a man’s duty and keeps order. In America the yt man has removed discipline from the home so now your kids are the rulers and can use the system against you. Kids do not fear consequence of their actions parents are talking in vain because they’ve taken heed to the serpents rules and ignore gods laws and instruction.

Prison didn't make him a better man, he just matured. You gone mature regardless, young men do yourself a favor and do it out of prison.
I’d like to see this man get a second chance at freedom. He’s found the light!
Let's not get carried away we don't know what this man done and how much pain he caused

Those are dead men rapping and a dead man walking. Cold 🌎
I hear you, but some of those people are Iiving whereas some folks on the street are existing. Its a state of mind. God bless you.
YES!
We are all dead men walking. “Teach us to number our days that we gain a heart of wisdom.” psalm 90:12.
@@yonatantesfay5541 truly is, I felt more peace and clarity of mind when I got locked up versus being out here with all my vices and distractions. Not advocating incarceration for freedom is truly sweet and wonderful when your walking the right path.

Most definitely an inspiring BLACK MAN!!! THANK YOU! GOD BLESS! KEEP GOING!
I was 17 was fighting and stealing and got caught and mom said your going to stay in there I’m not bailing you out lol I spent a weekend in jail and that’s all I needed some learn quicker than others! No women (naturally born) 😅in there that was a deal breaker
I'm glad you changed I did the exact same things fighting and stealing too. But I had to fight to survive .... lol.
Ain’t like you gonna have women outside if you’re broke so
Our kids only understand what we mean when it is too late. It seems it is human nature we make the same mistakes over and over neither listening nor trusting on the people loving us the most. For me, the outcome was indeed avoidable, how?, he just listening me, unfortunately it is too late since his actions took his life and there is not way to fix it. I am learning to survive with my other kids accepting their future can only be directed by them and there is little i can do with my advices and so on. Good luck to all parents, we are no longer making a difference on their life. Excellent interview and person.
6 months in the county got me right
Exactly!
Sht 10 days got me right😂😂

Doesn't matter because they only live in the now, and think it will never happen or catch up to them. A lot of the lost children we have could be saved but the system is designed to do the opposite. Soon as prison became profitable, the same people promoting the prisons lobbied to get rid of programs to mitigate the pipeline and also lobbied for longer prison sentences. There is no corrections conducted in the correctional system at all.
They’re not going to get the message. They’re too busy trying to be “hard” in the streets and prove a point.

I look forward to you getting out and truly embracing a new chapter for yourself and those around you.
Then you just carry the weight of lament.
me too, my life was messed up and suddenly i woke up and i was in my 30s trying to get my life together
Bless you Charles. Life's tough brother, I wish you well in your future.
Sad to hear him say that behind bars after 26 years young men need to take charge of their life’s before it’s to late.
Everyone should spend a couple months in jail. Not even prison, jail. The vast majority will never want to go back. Ever. I speak from experience. Six months day for day gave me a whole new perspective on life. You appreciate every day food, fresh air, the ability to drive your car to the local convenience store, being able to open your fridge when you are hungry and when it’s cloudy and rainy, you thank the Lord for that beautiful day.
Well said.
Life without is a hard pill to swallow.

We are responsible for our own actions. It’s not the white man it’s you

He is clearly reformed. However, I don’t know the extent of his crimes. Some crimes are unforgivable. But I’m no-one to judge. May God bless you.
The fact that you think you can judge a person's entire character based on a six minute interview is actually astonishing. This man could have killed somebody's wife or sister.Or husband.
You're saying?
He's reformed. You have absolutely no idea what You're talking about.
You think sociopaths can't put on a straight face for a five minute interview?
I have a couple bridges to sell you buddy
"The streets are a dead end. 🚧💔 It's heartbreaking to see so many paths leading to nowhere positive, where dreams fade and lives spiral into despair. We need to find a way to turn things around! 🌟✨"
I am a defector from N.Korea. looks like paradise to me.
9 months broke me I can't even lie!!! I haven't been back in 8 + years and not EVER going back!
Remember the VICTIMS, remember the victims = they have no interview scheduled
The victim is dead
You know what he locked up for?
So you think they shouldnt have a chance to redeem themselves and teach other young kids to avoid what the road they took?
This man has taken to heart the words of Hebrews 12:5, 6 which says:
"My son, do not belittle the discipline from Jehovah, nor give up when you are corrected by him; for those whom Jehovah loves he disciplines, in fact, he scourges everyone whom he receives as a son.”
Yes, discipline is an act of love from God that leads to a full life, being in an approved state
Like a driver who obeys road signs, accept the counsel, apply it, and move forward
My homeboy just did a 25 out of a L sentence.. he home now. Doing well
I did one day and I was with a group of guys that had me in positive attitude once they left and got out earlier then me omg I was alone and it was awful. Don’t wish anyone in there. Do good and you will be good.
