I'm currently in second year for a four year course, and watching this made me sort of had an existential crisis in a weird way, because seeing Jake grow throughout the vlogs and then to see all of his final moments, getting rid of the bike etc made me realise it's going to end for me too, and that uni (that's currently been the best thing to ever happen to me) will end relatively soon. Anyway, less of me being depressing, Happy New Year Jake and viewers!
As a Cambridge fresher I wish I'd listened to your bike advice back in October haha! I'm heading back to Cambridge to start term 2 next week and I'm really really tempted to start vlogging my time there, purely for my own benefit so I can look back at it years on... Watching these last vlogs of yours has made me realise how exciting these 3 years will be! I feel I need to document them too!!
Just watching Jake go out to clubs is exhausting, though it does bring back some fond memories of my own past club going days. Jake's bike advice seems good. It is nice that he was able to donate it to others in need. I hope that Jake had a wonderful new year. I am looking forward to his more current London vlogs. It will be interesting to see what he gets up to and perhaps meet a new cast of characters if his London friends are more open to being in the vlog. It will be interesting to hear Gavin L. speak (other than to pugs and parrots).

Hello, I was wondering when you first knew that you wanted to study CompSci and also when you first became interested in subjects relating computer science like coding. I am 14 (year 10) and wondering if it is too late to start learning about things like this and be able to get into a good university. I am already very interested in computers and all things relating computers. Thanks.
Okay thanks! I was just wondering whether or not it was too late to start taking an interest in Computer Sciences because I haven't taken Computing for GCSEs and I'm not sure if that means I won't be able to do it at A level. I won't be able to change GCSE options now as I started them in Year 9 but thank you for your advice anyway.
+Jacob Doshi Basically do maths, further maths, physics and if you're going to do a 4th subject it can pretty much be anything respectable. Computing generally makes the first year a bit easier and shows you're interested, unless they've changed the syllabus. Learn to code over the next few years and try to make something to show off in the interview but apart from that just try and get as many A*s as you can
