      Excuse me, may I ask you, do you eat your carps? And, if yes, how?

    • @OutsidewithTom

      @@johnlee5129 I don't eat them. The meat is full of tiny bones.

      @@OutsidewithTom sir, I once ate Carp, and I discovered it to be the oilest fish.

    Nice pre-work session! Beautiful fish. I always fish one rod with a tiger nut--one of my confidence baits.

      Honestly I was a pike/catfisherman ... my friend put me onto carp and I gotta say they are fun! Like close to my catfish kind of fun... except they're WAY more abundant and willing to bite than my flatheads haha my P.B. is 16 pounds

    Can I use just a regular tiger nuts from the Walmart or it should be special from the fishing bite store?

    • @TopTacticFishing
      @TopTacticFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can but better cooked. I usually buy them from a carp bait store like bigcarptackle.com that way you dont have to do anything to them

    Love your video!! I really like your rods and reels. What brand/model are they?

    • @TopTacticFishing

      Thanks: in this video I’m using the St Croix avid series 9’6 rods which are no longer made. I now use the 9ft sonik extractor rods. The reels are Daiwa regal

    What kind of reel are you using?

  • @gerryb8879

    I never used tiger nuts before. How do you attach it to the hair? Does it come pre-drilled?

    • @TopTacticFishing
      @TopTacticFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a baiting needle to thread them on the hair

    • @gerryb8879
      @gerryb8879 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The baiting needle can penatrate the tiger nut? My impression was the tiger nuts is very hard and it would need to be drilled

    • @TopTacticFishing
      @TopTacticFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gerryb8879 they are hard but I’m still able to penetrate through it. Requires a little force but works

    By the sounds of it
    I think you want to invest in a new reel
    The one you are using sounds terrible.
