Wow! Aisha! I’ve watched many flexi rod tutorials and attempted it many times. I never thought to section it off, nor had i ever seen anyone section it off. That makes it so much more manageable and less intimidating. Loved this video! You’re beautiful and oh so helpful! Continue being great!
You are gorgeous and so is your hair. Thanks for showing flexi rods on shorter hair. However, your lipstick stole the show! That lipstick color looks so great on you!
I'm new on my hair journey and videos like yours are what keep me going. I have at least 1moment every single day where I just want to perm my hair. These videos have helped me tremendously!! Thank you for sharing!!
Damn ur hair looks amazing I love ur hair type 😍 I can’t wait until I can do this hairstyle 😩😍 I’m currently growing out my Twa 😄 Thanks for this video ‼️✨
Hi! When my hair was this length, I'd sleep with a satin lined bonnet and then the next day refresh it with oil. Some frizz and flatness the next day is inevitable so I just tease it out to get back that shape.
Your hair looks fabulous girl! My daughter was like so inspired! She's a mixed chick lol....however that lipstick. Let's talk about it..where is it from?! PS...what do you use for your curl refresher after a few days?
Beautiful curls, I'm curious about your drying times - was your hair damp when you started or did you blow dry? and did I hear you say you were under the dryer for a few hours? My rod sets always frizz!
Thank you for responding so quickly... I have 4C, dry, coarse, coily, low porosity hair..been using Mielle hair products for a few months now...thinking about using something else...Thanks again.
Hi! I'm not sure, I haven't used that particular product. I think as long as it give yours curls a nice lasting hold, moisture and smoothness that comes with a rod set, it'll do the trick.
Hi Tiana! Yes, I'll definitely try blow drying it down the line. I have another flexi rod video I'm working on, but I'll take your advice and add that into the pipeline. Thank you for the suggestion!
Girl I must be slow. I picked your video because your method seemed simple and understandable. But then I attempted it and I COULD NOT DO THE TWIRL/SWIRL METHOD. Now I'm sad. Do I roll and twirl at the same time.
Aw man! So you roll it, and then twirl, then roll and twirl. If that makes sense? Make sure you have a decent amount of product on as well to hold the hair onto the rod as well!
I remember this being your go-to before you big chopped, it looks so cute on your natural hair too! Beautiful job❤
Kay Alex hahah yup! Thank you so much! I appreciate it :)

Flexi rod reminds me of brown paper bag roller strips from pass decades. Nothing new under the sun 😎🌻.
S. J. T........

Absolutely Gorgeous.. How do you sleep on it and still have style the next day?

Beautiful !!!what is your hair type?

Thank you! 😊
Beautiful!!!
Thank you!!
You JUST got a NEW subscriber! But please, can you tell me the EXACT name of each product you used?
How long does it last? What is your nighttime routine? How often do u trim ur hair?
Hi! Usually 3-4 days, I wear a bonnet with this style at night and then refresh with oil in the morning. I trim my hair every 6 months!
love itttt!!!
Thank you so so so much!
Beautiful 🎉
Looks good, about how many flexi-rods do you think you use by the time you’re done?
1 swirl and you right there girl lol
2:54 By chance, are you able to provide a link for your detangling brush?
Yes it's a denman brush: www.denmanbrushus.com/product/d3-medium-7-row-styling-brush.html?r=1106
I know this was done two years ago but how do u keep it at night
You can put the rods back in invent but my hair norms lasts 5 days with just a bonnet
Very pretty
Thank you! 😊
How long does it last? Do you just tie up at night and lift up in the morning?
Yes this usually lasts about 3 - 4 days. Since my hair was shorter, i wore a bonnet and refreshed with oil the next morning
New to ur channel
Please what are the name of the products u used?
How do you know which size rods to use on which parts of the hair?
Most likely based off the length of her hair. She appears to have an asymmetrical cut.
Who said that frizz was a bad thing? Africa will return so embrace that beautiful frizziness.
How do you wrap your curls up at night?
Ms. Aisha, what type of shampoo and co-wash do you use for your hair?
It varies, but recently I have been using the TGIN Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. My favorite co-wash is by Mo Knows Hair!
Thank you for responding so quickly... I have 4C, dry, coarse, coily, low porosity hair..been using Mielle hair products for a few months now...thinking about using something else...Thanks again.
Love it!
Thanks!!
So beautiful
Thank you so much!
Beautiful
Thank you!
love you hair 👍 you got a new sub☺
it's ciara yay! Thank you so much!
How long has it been since your big chop?
Ramona Stewart it’s been little over 9 months!
I'm currently using mielles souffle for twist outs...could this product be a good alternative instead of mousse for flexi rod styles?
Hi! I'm not sure, I haven't used that particular product. I think as long as it give yours curls a nice lasting hold, moisture and smoothness that comes with a rod set, it'll do the trick.
Aisha Beau thanks for replying ☺️ your YT page is everything!!!
Beautiful results. New Subbie
Thank you so much!
I Love her hair🌹🌹🌹
With all of the twisting of the hair around the rod, particularly at the root isn't your hair tangled by the time you're ready to wash again?
Nope!
Very beautiful 😍
thank you!
What side flexi rods do you use
Thank you so much!
Gorgeous 😉
Thank you!
How long did it take to dry?
I like it 🌸looks Damn good💞💋great job👍
Thank you so much!!
What’s the products you are using please
Love it

Alguém sabe o nome desse produto que da brilho em português pfv
How many rods did you use in total?
Thanx
My eyes may be bad but she looks like Kelis.
Can u try it when you blow dry your hair and then put mouse
Hi Tiana! Yes, I'll definitely try blow drying it down the line. I have another flexi rod video I'm working on, but I'll take your advice and add that into the pipeline. Thank you for the suggestion!

@@AishaBeau 🤔hmm.. I will be trying it!!
Is it bad that I have GREY HAIRS????
Of course not! I actually love grey hair, and I have several!
I have quite a few and I am 25. Dont worry about it!
Yea
Yea I have about 6 at this point. I am 31 though so it's going to only get worse or better, depending on how you look at it!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
TWA?
TWA means Teenie Weenie Afro
❤
2H+ drying time is too long. Why not use mesh rollers? The drying time is cut in half.
I don't get the same results, I like the look of flexi rods :)
@@AishaBeau Are you able to comb through all those curls? How do you maintain the look?
Also it doesn't take that long if you don't do them on freshly washed hair. You can wash then blow dry before using the flexi rods.
Too much time an effort!😮
Y talked 2 much. U did say I saturated the hair until the middle of the video. U could have done better w/directions then demo…thank you
Beautiful!!!
Thank you!!
Love it
