These are stunning models in every way - jewel like in their detail, cannot be faulted etc. My first thought when I saw the waterline model in sail etc was dare I say, it was missing figures working the ship. This would really bring it to life. Case in point, I have a 211 year old model of a 2nd Rate 94 gun RN warship, which was built in around 1810, not the actual ship, but the model itself by a Scottish shipbuilder back in the day. The model has figures on the deck (officers) and in the rigging (sailors) and Royal Marines on deck! The stern galleries are made from ivory. Many thanks
