Thank you for this. I'm 37. In 1996 I was rushing off of the school bus to watch DBZ. I was a trouble maker in my early years, but Goku literally taught me to be a better person even if I didn't know it at the time. I then started to weep heavily never wanting to leave her side before she placed her hand on top of mine and saying "It's alright. I love you." Those were her last words before I left. As I drove home, a smile broke out on my face for I knew that she would be watching over me grinning as she normally would through the clouds and the sky. Hearing this feels really different after what happened recently. I got into Dragon Ball at the tail end of his life, but for that short time, I appreciated it all the same. Akira Toriyama had a sense of humour and adventure that will never be in unison with an imagination like his again, certainly in my life time. He is sorely missed already.

May you rest in peace, Akira Toriyama. I grew up watching Dragon Ball and I got a lot of lovely memories from it... Thank you for making all of this possible. We love you. ❤🙏💯👑
Rest in peace Akira Toriyama, you've touched so many lives, given so many motivation, it's not everyday that someone gets to have such a tangible impact on the world. There's simply no words that can describe how dearly you will be missed by all of us, but I think that Goku himself has the closest thing to the right words, "Till we meet again guys!"
Gracias Goku ! Gracias Akira Toriyama !!!

Dbz5 impacted a lot of our minds what is making you cry is the nostalgic feeling that this song gives out, it makes you want to be a little kid again waking up to watch cartoons early on a Saturday night with a bowl of cereal and have no worries or responsibilities.
I’m sure Akira is up there, always drawing, eating his favorite snacks reading his magazines. That’s what he thought was best. His best life. RIP Akira toriyama.
Why am i constantly crying to this song everytime i listen to this, it provokes so much sadness and hit deep in my hearts maybe there is a hope for me to realize and change myself in life.
It’s kinda funny cuz me too and this show aired way before I was even alive. It’s amazing cuz this show brought me together with my family members when I was a child (specially my cousins) and idk man it just teleports me back to when we had no responsibilities, no problems, no worries. We were just happy and didn’t know it.

I officially declare. This is the best soundtrack ever! Constantly, when I listen to it, I get the maximum feeling of pleasure. He... just... broke me inside and out. Impossible...
Has pasado por varias transformaciones.

Akira Toriyama's birth was the same year as my father. I've always though Akira would out live my father because my Dad has a lot of health problems and didn't take care of himself in his youth. Asian people are known for having a long healthy life. I feel like dieing in your 60s is too young. But when God wants the life he's given to you, there's nothing no one can do about it. When its time its time. I feel like Akira was a good person, whatever place he is right now, its not bad. Extremely grateful for the best improvised art work in history. Dragon Ball.
He's made it King Kai's place, now. There he is, training for the next big Other World Martial Arts Tournament. Rest in Peace, Akira Toriyama. Now he can finally live out his own fantasies of being a duo ala Goku and Kirurin with Shunsuke Kikuchi. Who knows, maybe they'll even face off against one another in the Tournament, just like old times.

I can really see why the Japanese people love dragon ball so much the ending of dragon ball felt like the end of an era
@GHZ J2691 I don’t know
@@dinogt8477 The composer died here and now, my God this year is taking to far
Hearing this feels really different after what happened recently. I got into Dragon Ball at the tail end of his life, but for that short time, I appreciated it all the same. Akira Toriyama had a sense of humour and adventure that will never be in unison with an imagination like his again, certainly in my life time. He is sorely missed already.
Thank you for everything Akira Toriyama, for being a significant part of my child- and adulthood to this day. I wish you all the best rest and peace.
"You are an incredible being, I admire you a lot because you gave your best, went through several transformations, it was so powerful that we all hate you..."
"I hope you are reborn as a good person, I will be waiting for you to fight, I will also train, I will train a lot to get stronger...."
"Goodbye Majin Boo!!"
One version had him say "Adios"
Thanks you Akira Toriyama, see you Sensei Akira Toriyama
May you rest in peace, Akira Toriyama. I grew up watching Dragon Ball and I got a lot of lovely memories from it... Thank you for making all of this possible. We love you. ❤🙏💯👑
Happy New Year, Toriyama. Me and my family grew up on your work and were forever inspired.
Toriyama changed a lot of lives, rest easy ❤️
Thank You for saving my life Sensei😢 you saved me from being overweight and helped me get into a fit person. Truly a legend😭
RIP Shunsuke Kikuchi. Thank you for your contribution to dragon ball throughout the years.
Goodbye thanks for all the memories \o/
Rest in peace Akira Toriyama, you've touched so many lives, given so many motivation, it's not everyday that someone gets to have such a tangible impact on the world. There's simply no words that can describe how dearly you will be missed by all of us, but I think that Goku himself has the closest thing to the right words, "Till we meet again guys!"
Gracias Goku !
Gracias Akira Toriyama !!!
Lo stesso vale x me
Ami tambien
39 y sigo con la lagrimita :_)
Have you ever think that probably when this episode was originaly transmited on TV we all as kids raised our hands together at the same time, without unocsiously realizing that we were all together doing something great together, without knowing each other we were all sharing our chilhood memories.
Rest in Peace Akira Toriyama 🕊️
Dragon ball made part of my childhood and of many others too, his work really changed the world and inspired lots of artists, i can't put into words how much i love dragon ball it really changed my life because Toriyama's work was incredible and i'll always miss him may he rest in peace

Wrong about piccolo, he calls goku as son. Hehehe
I'm tearing up from the nostalgia
Mee too!!
I’m tearing up because of the sheer beauty of the song!
"Maybe you comeback someday as a better person. Perhaps we'll have a little one on one. Adios majin buu..."
This legend changed the title of a 10 years old video....to honour an even bigger legend.
Only Akira could make this happen. How great that man was.
One of the best OST's in Anime History (maybe even the best). That part in 2:17 is just heaven !
2:33 Such a beautiful emotional piece of music from Dragon Ball Z. ❤️🎶
Why does this song always make me cry. Am I alone on this?
Manuel Rojas Yes
Manuel Rojas: no
Manuel Rojas nope, im crying right now...
Goku sacrificed himself to protect gohan and the earth by Instant transmitting himself to King Kai's planet with Cell to this music.
My favourite. Give me always gossebumps
mourad mimosa Tu m'a ** BEAUCOUP** impressionné

RIP Shunsuke Kikuchi, you have composed so many fantastic OST
I am 33 and i cry like a baby. My childhood died today. Thank you for everything Akira.
DESCANSA EN PAZ AKIRA TORIYAMA!!! 💔
REST IN PEACE AKIRA TORIYAMA!!! 💔
On this day it was announced that Akira Toriyama has sadly passed away at the age of 68 years old. To the man that single-handedly created a series that shaped my life and so many others and changed shounen anime forever. May you rest in peace in other world Akira Toriyama.
I officially declare. This is the best soundtrack ever! Constantly, when I listen to it, I get the maximum feeling of pleasure. He... just... broke me inside and out. Impossible...
I wouldn't say its the best tbh
Has pasado por varias transformaciones.
Gokuu love you brazil ❤
Eu chorei nesta cena final 😭😭😭😭adeus Majin Boo vaiiiiiiiiiii👍
when i die and leave this planet i wanna listen to this song on the way to the afterlife.
same tho. See myself ascend and watch all who mourn my death(prolly nobody) and float into the sweet embrace that it heaven
I wanna see it as I travel into Heaven & Have my Life Memories with this angelic music play like a Montage of my life from start to finish young to Old.
Rest in peace, Akira Toriyama.
Thank you for all the amazing work you did. Dragon Ball has shaped me into who i am now and still continues doing so. I shall never forget you or the things you achieved. Dragon Ball still is and will always be a part of me.
The man who made this beautiful song along with the rest of the japanese music score for dbz has passed away today. Thank you for these amazing OSTs Mr.Kikuchi. I can't even express how much you'll be missed.
"I come from the future 20 years from now and you don't exist because you die here today"
LebrunJemes187 ha I'm from 90 years in the future
LebrunJemes187 one of the best punchlines of dragon ball
LebrunJemes187 everytime I hear this song it reminds me of trunks in that scene as he powers up and rushes him knowing he has no hope and then gets blown away
chills
stop right there When is that?
R.I.P. Shunsuke Kikuchi....Thank you for the all the best moments, not only of my childhood,...of my life too
Akira Toriyama's birth was the same year as my father.
My childhood, my heart, my life... just anything got changed by this. A true db fan speaking here. Love anything from dragonball. It changed my life to the better side!
Rest in peace Kikuchi, you were an absolute ledgend. This is my favorite track he made
That music gives so much faith and hope that the better days will come. Dragon Ball - thanks fot everything.
Guys don't cry, assemble the Dragon Balls!...we can bring him back.
R.I.P sensei
I will never forget Akira Toriyama, the great cartoon god who made son goku, the hope of the whole universe.
"Sai, spero che tu rinasca buono, così avremo l'occasione di batterci ancora, soltanto tu e io. Mi alleneró molto per il nostro incontro, te lo giuro.... Arrivederci.". T______T
Anche tu italiano ahahah

dragon ball z è speciale pure per queste musiche...le emozioni le senti non solo sulla pelle ma in tutto il corpo. brividi

I remember collecting stickers for a dragon ball sticker book. I remember waking up in the morning after putting a tooth underneath my pillow, believing I was able to perform the Kamehameha wave. I remember begging my parents to get me Dragon Ball movies, Dragon Ball games, merchandise, whatever. I remember aspiring to be like you in third grade. I remember thinking about your characters and their determination whenever I had struggles. To no matter what aspect of my life, Dragon ball has been and will forever be apart of my life. Thank you so much Mr. Toriyama.
