3:54 Sorry to correct you but this is a category 2, three point linkage pin adapted well after the war as is the frame its mounted on,
4:14 They are "Jerry Cans", designed by the Jerrys and later on copied by the Yanks and the Poms and are still in use today.

Didn't Ford-Werke AG produce these as well under license from Ford for the German Service?

Because Ford was a world wide brand in WW2, it made those same trucks for the Germans while so many other buinesses were forbidden from doing business with the enemy. What was outrageous was that the US Army Air Corps and artillery units were forbidden from bombing the Ford plant (s) and so when the US went into Germany they discovered that the German military had used the Ford plants for items that they did not want to lose to bombing, and that the executive offices were being used, even with the Americans on the outskirts of the town, for high ranking officer in the Wehrmacht because they were safe havens. When the Americans took over the town and the German army fled the American soldiers including officers went to that office and were shocked by the fact that everything else around the Ford property lay in ruins. It may have been Stephen Ambrose's book Citizen Soldiers who has a section for what the American commander of artillery in the area saw and felt because he felt what a normal person would, the place should have been bombed to bits because while other factories were out of commission, Germany was still getting new Ford trucks which made it harder for American soldiers and probably played a part in getting German soldiers to a location where they were able to kill American soldiers. I know that after the War when Toyota and Datsun autos were starting to enter the American market a lot of vets would not buy them because they produced things that killed Americans. Well, I feel the same about Ford having a role supporting an enemy and the Nazies and won't buy a Ford. But it is more than that that turned me against Ford for life. Henry was an ardent American Nazi and Hitler sent the German Embassy delegation to meet with Henry and presented him with a medal designed by the Nasis to award citizens who's private industry made contributions to benefit Nazi ideology.
Well, through out history, people from every nation have been corrupt traitors. Henry was nothing new. Just because there have always been corrupt, though, does not mean they should not be opposed.
If you don't behoove me about the medal, Google Henry Ford, medal, German NAZI And it will come up.
