@@dakindse23 Like with every genre, there's a lot of nuance and space to get creative. The song you sent is definitely as Hi-Tech as it gets, this song is a little more focused on the melody and has less "distortion" or glitchy sound effects.

I love the vocal samples in this, the "forget about it" and the "we only have one more chance" are so good with the kick towards the end. You hear the first sample earlier but it's so good still.

infected mushrooms is Psychedelic trance and dream trance
and hi-tech is a sub genera of trance so similar genre. however they also do glitch experemental and a few others.
Yeah, Ryu probably bought some of IMs software
since infected mushroom is the most dominant force in psytrance, it's almost certain that many psytrance's subgenres and producers in those branchs will be influenced by their music to a certain extent. This doesn't rule out hi-tech either
