- Update 5/2019: I see so many little things with this vid that I would change up or execute better now if I was making it, I was still just starting to get the feel for Sony Vegas when I made this. I still have tons to learn but looking back I could have executed this much better. But I still do love the whole feel to this video and how much of that darkness and emotion that came through, at least to me. Thank you everyone who is watching and enjoying this :)

Anyway, still fairly happy with this edit. I wanted to showcase the more dramatic moments in this normally lighthearted and hilarious show and I think it turned out well.

Shawn is numb in the most high energy way. If you pretend everything is a joke, nothing matters.
Shawn runs from so much, both physically and mentally. He has had a rough life at times, even if it doesn't seem like it. His entire life his dad treated him more like a detective in training than a son, and he ends up being fairly emotionally stunted because of it, so he learns to only treat life as if it's an interactive story or something, instead of a very real, and tough life. So i completely agree with you, he is the energetic depressed, the one who is trying to make people laugh because they are hurting inside, and want someone to feel good if they can't.

This is excellent editing and the cover of the song fits with what’s being shown on screen-Shawn’a kidnapping, Yin/Yang, Henry’s realization about his partners, the breakup with Juliet. It’s all great and it deserves more views!
My gosh this is amazing. I've never seen such a serious and gloomy Psych edit, and it really does capture the "real" moments of the series.
