Kindly share your personal opinion that which reading and listening module is easy for a general student (those who doesn't have an idea on academic content). I have difficulties on listening and reading module in IELTS and that's why I am looking for PTE. But it seems that PTE reading and listening module is not so easy as I feel with both compared. I can try to improve speaking and writing from 6.5 to 7.5 but not confident to get 79 in PTE reading and listening module. My IELTS score in LRWS 5.5,5.0, 6.5, 6.5 My target is 8777 in ielts or 79 in PTE
Thank you getting touch. I feel the listening and reading tasks in PTE is almost same as that of the IELTS. Nevertheless, whether your target score is 8777 or 79+, you will need to work hard.
If you can, it will be a good exposure if you can attempt a scored practice test from PTE. In that way you will get a better understanding of your current level. use the following link for more details, pearsonpte.com/preparation/practice-tests/

My IELTS score in LRWS 5.5,5.0, 6.5, 6.5
My target is 8777 in ielts or 79 in PTE
Thank you getting touch. I feel the listening and reading tasks in PTE is almost same as that of the IELTS. Nevertheless, whether your target score is 8777 or 79+, you will need to work hard.
If you can, it will be a good exposure if you can attempt a scored practice test from PTE. In that way you will get a better understanding of your current level.

Hi Noel, I have recently sat for my IELTS and the results are:
Reading: 7.5
Listening: 8
Speaking: 7.5
Writing: 6.5
Can you predict my results if I sit for PTE?
And for writing, which test is easier IELTS or PTE? as I need to get 7 in all component.
Thank you.
Hello, thank you for the query. Good score. It is it possible to predict your PTE score as it will depend on many factors including your preparation methodology. However, if you prepare smart then you can definitely get a good score. All the best.
Take a look at this video to know how to prepare for PTE - th-cam.com/video/iBq66Mm2ix4/w-d-xo.html
Did you take the PTE?? How did it go?? I had exactly the same results in IELTS and now considering PTE, also need 7 in academic ILTS 🫤
@@anawood87 I didn't take it recently.. but the last time when I took PTE, I've got 7 and writing I've got 7.. and speaking I've got 6.5. So for speaking you have better chance to score in IELTS than PTE and for writing its vice versa. Some colleges and universities accepts 2 results as long when you combine both results and you managed to get all the required components achieved it's target.
Oh and my last result for IELTS:
Listening: 9
Reading: 8
Speaking: 8
Writing: 6.5 😑
I am really confused about ielts and pte can you guide me which one is best because in ielts I face lots of problems so please can you guide me ?

Hi sir I gave my iltes and got an overall 8
Listening- 8
Reading- 8
Speaking-8.5
Writing- 6.5
And because of the writing section all the university I have applied for are asking me to retake that …I do feel a bit disheartened just because of one section I have to retake the entire exam
