Looks like the plexiglass is in 6 segments. How did they create the illusion of stanchions on the pieces if they are not individual? Is it just a routed groove? Do the corners have some type of clear tape to allow it to bend at an angle?
Yes you are right, there is a groove cut right into the plexi. The corners have that groove also but they are perfectly bent, no tape. When you remove them from the boards they keep their shape.
To each their own, really. I feel like I can play the original one anytime but nobody can play my custom one. I can tell you that the game play is a lot better and more fun on this one. Flat glass and boards make a huge difference. You can set up nice plays.
