@Plumeria Plumeria No that is not true. There is no state income tax in Texas but our property taxes are some of the highest in the country.

@M While the lure of NO INCOME tax has always been a big draw to lure people in. The Sticker Shock comes when they get their property tax bill. It is always higher than where they just come from.
