Think of Joseon as the name of the state/dynasty of Korea in 1444, similar to how the Ming tag is called “Ming” instead of “China”. Calling the state “Korea” is very weird in vanilla, I think this mod’s representation of Korea in this regard is a lot more appropriate.

biggest problem with chinese mods is that they don't bother to give more preview image, just cover and description, which turn off people like me to check out
I agree. This mod is one of the best ones I've seen in terms of the provinces it adds and just complete overhaul of everything, so it is quite a shame that not a lot of people know about it. Hopefully more people will look at it after watching this video as it is a very good mod.
I've tried pax solis! this + dei gratia are two mods i like, adding a ton of flavor and historical adjustments to make for a better detailed, more historical game

Once you said they put a lot of time and effort into China. I was sold lol It is rare to find mods that actually go in-depth for China and really Asia as a whole.
It is very rare indeed. I have found other mods similar to this by other Chinese devs but they just are not in English. This is the first one I found that was in English and they did a great job with it

I see this mod actually gives Byzantium the strip of coast north of Constantinople. That’s good it’s accurate not enough mods do it and they don’t even do it for the base game.

joseon was the name of the korean kingdom from 1392 - 1897. think of it like how china is referred to as ming

South east Asia had some hindu provinces because before covering to buddhism they were hindu at that time they have not converted yet in those provinces

Joseon is a somewhat dynastical name in the sense that it represents a timeperiod in which that dynasty ruled korea, but I am not sure if that is the actual dynastical name. Considering how Ming, Qing, Yuan all have a similar thing going on, where the name represents a dynasty, but is not identical to the actual name of the dynasty, Joseon must have a similar thing going on.

@@Spears1444 Its a total conversion fantasy mod. The lore is extensive but another youtuber Pukebeard has made an interesting series on some of the countries in the mod.
