I always use the eyes in this video--they make OCs simply better Items that aren't used a ton make OCs more unique, since not a lot of people use them it's hard to find someone that your OC looks like, so it stands out :D The way you made these eyes are really neat though, I like them
Its kinda like the thing where things are hard to use in a good way but if you are good enough at it to the point where you can use it at its fullest, its really good
The cute eye the base was pointing at is actually a really good eye. We can make anything useless to a masterpiece- just never assume or refer it as bad or useless
