If u won't do your job in any engineering field and just after btech u wanna do preparation of upse then ig u can take easy branch which would be better for u to early preparation of upse in college itself

Go for cse as even though the curriculum of it and cse are almost same but companies still prefer cse and cse has a slight edge over it and the placements of mnit allahabad are better acc to me but if you belong to Karnataka or south side then you can think of suratkal it otherwise mnit allahabad cse is best . Your and my opinion may differ but still these are my thoughts.
