Thanks for the introduction..I was just asked to repair one a friend picked up..controls not working on boom...I figure he don't know about, control on switch...down loaded owners manual..now I have a really good idea what I'm dealing with...thanks again for posting.... 😎👍👋
Thank you for the only real information on a Versalift system. You would think Versalift would have online service, parts, and owners manuals. My system is on a Chevy 30 Van. The batteries often go dead. I'm surprised Versalift went with an electric system powered by 2 x 6V batteries. They should have simply fitted a hydraulic pump to the van's V8 motor.
Hi, I have a TEL- 28b Van-28-B Its leaking fluid from the boom, i won't to get it fixed but don't know which Cylinder, mean while where do i put the hydraulic fluid? how much will it hold? until i get a repair person. i watched your video and can see how yours look on a truck, i seen the glass the showes fluid? where do it fill it at?
Nice to see a video on the Versalift 29', I picked one up about 5 years ago, I made a 4" Heavy Duty, channel iron frame, mounted the Versalift to it,using my Excavator, I slide the unit into my 12' Dump body on my F-700, chain front end to truck frame, back end to tailgate latch clamps, Quick connect to dump body circuit ( Body cant dump this way), hook up a 12volt wire and the unit works great, I just use regular Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission oil, in the truck system, (Not using the tank in the Versalift) make sure E brake is on, wheels are chocked, did a test run with about 300 lbs of cement blocks in bucket first maiden run, everything worked as I planned and still does,,, sure beats a Ladder !

that would make sense. Mine is generator powered and electric backup on the gas engine and diesel PTO on the other truck.
thanks for the video. Have you ever had a problem with hydraulic fluid coming out of the filler cap?
what type hydraulic fluid do you use?
