I have no experience in editing videos, I'm just a writer... But I feel that videos too are actually stories. I don't know the difficulties you face while editing, you are very good at it. It's just, when you make any video, especially a ship video, try and match the lyrics to the visual. Like, in your mind, if you or those requests say that jk will be the female pov, then the visuals should match accordingly atleast 40-50% of the song. I'm sorry if I offended you or any others in any way... Please take it positively and try and improve your editing. For me, a video should tell a story.. A start, a middle and an ending.. Or ambiguous.
