As a procrastinator I can totally relate to this.
I love how the extended due date seems like a bad thing, when it just means you were able to get the grind of a 10,000 word essay done in a minute, and now don’t have to worry about it ever again until the next essay
On the other hand, it makes the story way less epic. I've had this happen plenty of times, and it's nice to be done, but it's also nice to be able to tell that you truly dodged the deadline of death by a minute.

@@alexinio0535 Had it happen to my classes back in high school. I'd be one of the only ones diligent enough to complete assignments and assessments on time, only to find out many of my other classmates didn't do theirs enough or haven't started and the teacher spares them a couple more weeks
The fact that if enough people don’t do it the bad students are rewarded and the good ones are punished really shows how much school doesn’t really matter

I’m a second year uni student and this video gave me so much anxiety… but the lil power type session towards the end was so relatable 😂
This reminds me of when I was in college and was always the first to get assignments done. Then I'd have to wait even longer for others to finish there's just for the teacher to teach the next unit. One my teachers decided just to give me the next assignment to do anyway because I had nothing to do. 😅 And yes, I love doing assignments so that's why I got them done within a day or so haha

I wouldn't even have known there was an essay due I would be bingeing some series until the next day
The ending is so relatable for me during virtual school, at least for the first couple months. Then I wised up and realized I could just watch TH-cam all day and only do the tests and other summative assignments, which only happened like once or twice per quarter in each class, and honestly weren’t that hard, and I could do them very late for full points, and I could get some help from the internet and the notes the teacher left in the class files that we aren’t supposed to use for the test
when I had online learning, I spent like 10 hours in a row doing tasks and it was so frustrating cause I literally had no time on TH-cam...
anyway, now normal school is back and... I still have like barely any time on YT
...and now I am just watching Beluga’s videos!

The only good thing about doing all of my homework early is that if I'm done I get to do anything I want

Reminds me of something similar I've done in 7th grade:
So my class needed to write a pretty long story about a big event in our lives. We had a week to do it. Obviously, no one finished. The teacher extended the due date by a week. I didn't start until a day before it was "due," and then I had to write the whole thing in the afternoon. I actually ended up making a decently made story, and my teacher presented it to everyone the next day. That was cool, but since no one else finished their story the teacher extended the due date by _another_ week. And then nobody did it that week like wtf, it's hard but not THAT hard. At the end of the quarter nobody but me and a few others had finished so it was basically just extra credit and the teacher got fired. I liked my story tbh, but my teacher never gave it back to me and now it's gone. Well, idk why I spent 10 minutes typing a comment for the 0 people who will read this whole thing but you're welcome!
