Organisation is a gradual habit. Starting the simplest things (drinking water) and then building on it with (cleaning your room, completing assignments) other tasks is a good approach. I love making lists of all sorts. I've seen other people use google calendar a lot too but personally I have become a big fan of Trello. I tried to use a physical calendar but I just don't get myself to open it and check it every day which I do when I have the trello app on all of my devices 🙌🏼 But doing a daily to do lists is definitely something that is very helpful no matter in what form you do it.
Unorganized people do not appreciate the intense feeling of accomplishment that you get from marking a task complete-even if you had already completed it and then wrote it on the to-do list just so you could mark it as complete. This is what we anally retentive (read-successful) people do to get our rocks off!
