The oil which India Import from Russia, used by India less than quarter of import, it will be refined and exported to various west nations. We had every type crude oil refineries to process the crude oil and we had access also.

Sir all our defense deals that are made with countries are made on the terms that they cant sell the same equipments to any of india's neighbouring countries that share the borders with us. For the S400 purchase we were not sanctioned reason being our argument was simple "if you have a defense hardware that is equivalent to the s400 or can beat the S400 we will buy from you" to which the americans didnt have an answer to. Because even the american defense system is not in power with the russian s400 so now if we wish to compare the new version of the s500 to the US defense systems, lets not even go there and since we have been prolonged buyers of russian hardware for so many years from before. Puting sanctions on India didnt make sense. But that cant be said for pakistan youll have been buy western hardware all along and now if say pakistan even thinks of buying from russia 100 percent sanctions would be imposed on Pakistan. But high end defense equipment from russia to pakistan would never materlise reason being India. Russia and India are too close our defense ties go back many years and are too deep. Russia will not go against India in favour of Pakistan. This is a time tested friendship aaj ka nahi. The world has tried their best to break that bond that didnt work.

But the ones sold to India can detect within 400 radius as well as take down threaths within 400 km radius. Which is why the chinese are huffed with the russians on that front.
Even your JF 17 aircrafts which is jointly developed by china and pakistan the engine used in the aircraft is russian. The chinese wanted TOT for it to be manufactured in China. What russia did is the deal for producing those engines have been signed with India. So basically speaking Pakistan and china have been left with no other option to either look for another engine or buy the engines from India. Quite a predictment isnt it 😂😂 where the hardware of your warplanes have to be manufactured by your so called enemy. They cant do it with India right now as the full world is standing united with India and second India is not under sanctions. Russia understands the threath so these vists to these countries are to ensure russia's far east is well defended should there be any misadventure N.Korea and Vietnam would open their own fronts against china. As the stratigic deal signed with both countries state so. An attack on russia would be considered an attack on both vietnam and N.korea so both these nations would be compeled into war if russia is attacked and vis versa.
Now with Narendra modis trip to russia i feel similar deal would be signed not just logestics.
