We returned to the Concheros area and found several pieces. Among them a knife with a circular base and a serrated tip, both unknown to us. We thought that the knife was special for filleting fish and for removing the flesh from the shells that would be on the fire. Thank you for always being here with us.
@@RedEyedPatriot WOW my friend, I appreciate this great comment. I'm going to look for this type of knife in the Kerrville book. Thank you and blessings always.
Thanks for sharing your hunt, I enjoyed tagging along. Finding a new type of point is one of the most satisfying feelings I've had. Very nice finds brothers. Good luck next hunt 👍
@@Larry-j7e Here in our area we had never found that type of knife or the serrated tip. It is wonderful to find tips of different types. I think it is because the area is different in terms of the needs that they had. They were more dedicated to fishing than to hunting and gathering. In this place there are no grinding stones or metates. THANK YOU, FRIEND, AND BLESSINGS ALWAYS FOR YOU.
You could be on to something, Senor. That certainly seems like it would be perfect, to remove shellfish, for consumption! Sort of like a sharpened, spoon! A Specialized knife form... 👍
COMPADRE HERMANO, me da gusto saludarlo. Este lugar de los concheros en donde hemos estado buscando ultimamente, nos esta dando cosas maravillosas. Un abrazo mi amigo, levanta el brazo y salud.
After your years of searching and about a thousand or more stone artifacts found, these knives you and Pepe have found recently are significant discoveries. These knives are unique. They would seem to be specific to the area you are searching as Pepe, Poncho a d you have never found similar knives elsewhere. Congratulations mis amigos! Fantástico.
Wow, my friend, that's the conclusion we've come to, that they are knives from that area. We've found around 12 knives of that type. Little by little you'll see them in our videos. As you told me, they were almost certainly for filleting and shucking oysters. BLESSINGS, my friend, and remember that you will always be welcome here.
Yes, my friend, we had fun, hunting with friends, good finds and that jeep took us to places that were very difficult to reach. BLESSINGS FOR OUR GREAT FRIEND.

Great job Senor! Thank you everone! Looks like Paleo pieces! The small point of Pepe, looks to be heavily beveled! Similar to a Bolen. Superior quality stone, of the rounded base knife! Wild serrations, the long one looked almost fluted! 👍 God Bless you guys!

Coyote, coyote, coyoteeee, hahaha. This new shell midden area is giving us new pieces, my friend. We already have several new tips like the two from today, this circular base knife and the forked one with grooves. BLESSINGS TO OUR GREAT FRIEND.
Amazing finds, again! I know your videos don't show the miles of walking when nothing shows up, but you sure do seem to get a great average return on your trips.

If God allows it, we will continue looking for the signs left by the natives to go in search of the things they left us. This last area that my friend Pepe and I have been looking for still hides wonders. Thank you for always being here with us. BLESSINGS ALWAYS.
I am also confused, my friend. Perhaps it had two functions, the sharp part was used in one way and the circular part for another. The blade was certainly also a sharp knife. They dedicated themselves to eating seafood such as shellfish and fish, I think that is the explanation of how they used these pieces. Thank you for being here, my good and great friend. Peace is a blessing.
You guys find some incredible, and unique artifacts. I can't understand much of what you're saying but I enjoy seeing what you find. I hunt in Montana and was curious if you're finding these in Mexico or maybe Arizona? Thanks for sharing your finds keep hunting!

Wow, my friend, after thinking a little and with the comments, I think you are right and that it had several uses. For some uses they used the tip, for others the sides and for others the circular part. It must have been a very useful tool for them according to the relationship it had with their main activity which was fishing and the extraction of mollusks from the sea. BLESSINGS TO MY GREAT FRIEND.
I wonder if you ever find any shell beads? I have seen a lot of shell middens in the areas that you hunt. Do you ever find any obsidian points. The artifacts that you find are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Hello my good friend. It is incredible that the natives here ate a lot of seashells. I have hunted for 40 years and have never found shell beads. Obsidian is a material that is not found here, it is volcanic, and is found in the north of this state. I have a small collection of obsidian, but I hunted it in those places when I worked there 25 years ago. Thank you for being here, my friend. A big hello to Ohio. BLESSINGS.
Just when we thought The Coyote was going to teach Pepe a Smoker lesson, Pepe pulls an equally fine Smoker of his own. Holy Smokes! Gotta love a Coyote who first give thanks to God. Blessings my friends.
Oh well, my friend, I think they used them with great care because they are thin and fragile, sometimes when opening a shell they could break. Maybe they opened them with fire and skinned them with these hand knives. Maybe they were very expert and also opened the shells like the coastal natives of Texas. Thank you my great friend, blessings always.

Hello my good friend. I live in Baja California Sur, Mexico. I don't know California in the US. But the first reference I would give you is to locate a place where there is a natural water source such as a river, a lake or a low part of the earth's surface where a large amount of water accumulates when it rains. The first thing the natives looked for for a settlement or for hunting was that there was water. I'm sorry I can't tell you a specific place in that part of California because I don't know that region. Welcome here with coyote always.
