Today my sister and I checked out NMIXX’s new release, ‘Love Me Like This’, off their first mini album, Expergo.
I was really surprised by this song! It took me a while to get into NMIXX, but I really like this new side to the girls! I see a more confident and comfortable energy that really affects the viewers. This track is a great change for them and they rock it!

I’m happy you mentioned the spaces left for jinni. I had noticed it and thought the same thing that almost every formation leaves a spot open or at least a space where you can see someone dancing there to fill it in. I find that beautiful how we as a fan base and the girls themselves still love jinni and hope she could comeback! Her spaces are even there for her.

I'm glad to see you highlighting a good representative of the future of kpop and JYP's version of it. As this spring gives us one of the last "Live" presentations of the Twice era via concerts my hopes are that everyone is satiated enough with this focus on dancing and brain deadening "No your so pretty ...no no no you are so pretty, no you are the prettiest...Everyone thought that this was entertainment and, it even was even promoted amongst the members of MAMAMOO.... Let's return to the good old days of talent and girls really being girls. Oh, like Girls Generation when singing and dancing and all round entertaining was the "Principe" of our entertainment model. Now you could say oh it's solely a Korean perspective but, no American influence in Korea is pretty extensive as is in Japan. As the evolution of Korean entertainment continues it keeps chipping away at trying to enter the Western markets. JYP ran an agency in America trying to get KPOP...popular. As I continue researching the phenomenon of Korean Entertainment / Asian popularity in the west I realized a few things. One: KPOP produces bops. danceable music with flashy outfits (but relatable outfits...No Lady Gaga stuff) to get attention... (First NJ song "Attention") Two: Attention is paid for. (second song NJ "Hype Boy") Third: sweetness... "Cookie".... Fourth: "Hurt" and finally everyone screams "OMG"... this is where KPOP is going to go...I saw the same thing in Black Pink in the beginning...Now they are all about fashion and are becoming unrelatable to me and my "Attention" has turned to something more like "GG". Look at this summers crazy hit "Forever1". Coincidentally this summer "K" pops New Jeans out of nowhere. NEWGENERATION... I'm so sad to see my loves Twice...I mean these girls made me laugh, cry, and pee my pants entertainment starting from 2015 ,and now they struggle to attain a number one hit... it's been since 2017 "Yes Or Yes". This last comeback "Set Me Free" has not even achieved 50million views in two weeks (it should hit 50 million by Fri 24 2023 or Sat early morning). So as I cry into my light stick saying where did it all go wrong? Did JYP lose control of his artists. Therefore songs and song choice...so much talk about members writing songs. Nayeon had a number two hit! Nmixx is knocking this song out of the park...Purple Kiss , Le Sserafim , Ive , 50 50, NMIXX. This is the new gen and New Jeans are the future Queens of KPOP. TWICE, ONCE, ZERO!
