    For anyone watching this for the purposes of using this in unity and the Timer wont stop use Timer.EndInit(); in whatever function

    Hey This was very Useful. I was kinda curious about what happens when you stop the timer. in unity it just keeps going, so i wonder if i am just using it wrong.

      Yeah it could definitely have different behaviors based on the environment it is running in.

    Does the code in the event handler execute on the same thread when using DipatcherTimer or is it a separate thread? Same question goes for the first example.

      That’s a really good question. I am going to take a guess here so don’t hold me 100% responsible for this but I think it uses a separate thread

    so to use timers for Microsoft Forms i would have to use dispatcher timer aswell right?

    I dont understand why Timers are meant for static classes as they in themselves are instances

      @@bedirhantekeli1681 Since that time, i already understood how timers work at all. And, my invoid construction was a little not right, i made many mistakes, yes... 😏. But now all works as well, so dont worry.
